i work at a casino, not sure how good our casino cameras are but i heard they can zoom up to your phone screen and read the texts on ur phone...

PTZs in the right spots along with fixed cams are the way too go. Fisheyes are not that great for quality and zooming

@@johnmiller6976 Writing incident reports wasn’t hard for me although I was on the slower side but my reports were of good quality.

@@bluelabel6444 Basically any single thing that happens that is not supposed to happen. From an employee getting sick, to a termination, to a fight between players, a car accident, a fire, etc

The casinos cheat players everyday and get away with it. Every time a player gets paid 6-5 on blackjack, the casino cheats by short changing the player. We players must strike back by refusing to play all fake blackjack games. The casino cheats by employing preferential shuffle tactics. This has the same effect as using a deck short of a few 10s and Aces. The players need to boycott casinos who cheat. Players need to refuse to play blackjack games which use continuous shuffle machine or half shoe the games. Casinos can also cheat at Craps by calling close rolls that don’t quite hit the back wall when it sevens out and calling no roll when the loins number hits. I believe that casino cheating occurs much more often than player cheating.

I hated fish eye cameras too. I avoided them only if I truly needed them.

They have optical de-warping these days. PTZ is always looking the wrong direction when something happens.

Learn two table games and apply for security. After a year you can transfer into surveillance, they don’t care for a degree.

Degree isn't vital for this field, however, a background in accounting/finance is a big plus to get into this field.

Amazes me that there are dishonest people who play at the casino. And they think that they are stupid. And they are going to win. Nope they will lose. Cameras are watching..
