MGM Rewards vs Mlife. I personally think it is for the worst. Mlife was so much better. Slot players at now rated by length of play instead of a countdown for every amount of dollars spent. In other words just like table play. They also change comps. MGM Rewards doesn't care about what status you are or tier points. They only care about money spent and lost.

With the introduction of the new MGM loyalty program in February, MGM Rewards members now earn MGM Rewards points (instead of Express Comps) from gambling, dining and hotel stays. Slots, video poker and video lottery play also earn Slot Dollars in addition to MGM Rewards points.
MGM Rewards doesn’t publish its formula for calculating rewards from gambling. Instead, MGM states that you'll earn points based on how long you play, the type of game and the average bet. For dining and hotel stays, you'll earn 1 MGM Rewards point per $1 spent. Since MGM Rewards points are worth 1 cent each, you're effectively getting a 1% return on your non-gaming spend.
In the Caesars Rewards program, a traditional slot machine earns 1 Reward Credit for every $5 that you play. For most video poker machines, you need $10 in play to earn 1 Reward Credit. For table games, you'll earn Reward Credits based on length of play, average bet and type of game. On hotel folios and at restaurants, Caesars Rewards members earn 1 Reward Credit for every $1 spent.
Caesars Rewards points are worth up to 1 cent each. But some popular redemptions - from gift cards to free play - provide only half of that value. For example, you need to redeem 1,000 Reward Credits for $5 in free play. That means your hotel and dining spend yields only 0.5 cent in free gaming per $1 spent - half of what MGM rewards for the same type of spending.

With the resort fee u have to go in person and check in and they will remove it I'm a platinum member and that happens to me to I go every month to Vegas Thursday thru monday

I know how it's done my point is I never had a resort fee ever within life I didn't have to go to the desk it was already taken care of

I'm Gold, been to Vegas 5 times this year. Leaving tomorrow too. 10k short of Gold for next year. Hoping to get it in 48 hours. Sounds like tier credits don't matter. Sucks.

Yeah they have completely ruined their comp system. I absolutely hate it. I don't know what their deal is but it seems like after COVID they have tried everything to get as much money back as possible. I used to get invited on the chartered air flights to Atlantic City I used to get constant offers for other invitation like slot tournaments. I was always getting the best rooms and then it just went to crap

You're not going to anymore. It sucks I used to get going to bed but now they aren't rating it the same as I used to. As a matter of fact I am going back to Vegas and staying at flamingo and going to become a Caesars player again they have ruined MGM for me. It's really sad especially for the slot players they get rated on how long they should have slot machine there is no countdown for tier points like they used to be. Also I'm a gold member could have been Platinum but I didn't go for it because last year the only difference was a free cruise and I wouldn't get the vaccination. So I just stayed gold and I should have hit gold again this year but they just don't care and also unlike Caesars they don't treat you like gold until you hit your gold again at mgm. So right now it doesn't matter that I'm a gold member they treat me like I'm a new member until I hit gold again which makes no sense. The years before as long as I hit old I was treated as a gold member all year until I didn't meet the requirements. Same with Caesars when I was a platinum player there I was platinum until I didn't hit Platinum again

@@WhatsUPwithDJ ok thanks.. i thought maybe i was doing something wrong. Im gold but my wife is also linked on the account. Like you said, mgm really got this one wrong.. i use to be platinum but im not about to spend that much to keep it

regarding MGM rewards, what r the pros and cons on playing various slot machines for 1-2 hrs vs. a single slot machine for 1-2 hrs

Bottom line. I'm 16,000 points away from gold. All I really want is the free vallet. How much slot machines do I need to play to get those 16,000 teir credits?
