Great foreshadowing from Clint’s character in the movie. Tuco thought his quick wit and sly way of getting his way would pay off in the end but he got into business with someone just as intelligent as him when it comes to staying one step ahead

You are indeed running the risks Tuco, but unfortunately, the guy doing the cutting still has a lot more bargaining power then you. If he fails to do his job he only gets one last payday, you just die.
