I remember when i first played through this part, and i can say its probably my fondest gaming memory, having to fight my way all the way to this part, i started to panic as soon as i heard the gunship come but i absolutely refused to lose, armed with a rocket launcher and bags of tortillia chips, i targeted the gunship as bullets shot through the windows around me, heavens divide playing in the background, I took it down first try, Never in my life has any video game made me feel like a complete badass as this game has in these moments. This scene alone is exactly why i play video games.

*Makes an entire series of stealth games* *Grabs the controller* "Fuck stealth."

I remembee this part so vividly. Ridiculously unprepared, bad outfit, bad weapons, running low on ammo and rations, constantly calling in resupplies. _And then this song starts!_ A great battle. The greatest battle.

This scene alone made the purchase of PSP worth the while. I friggin cried when the song played.

I love how this song plays during on the most intense part of the hardest level of the game, so pertaining to this hard endeavour.

Man I remember when I played this game... So many feels. Now 4 years later it's still my favourite Metal Gear Solid game.

This game and Crisis Core are probably the best games on the PSP and it's interesting how similar they are. Both are mission based gameplay in these small environments that use smart design to make them feel bigger than they are. I just finished Crisis Core Reunion and I'm finishing up Peace Walker HD and I still can't decide which I like more. I really like Crisis Core's main story but Peace Walker has more fulfilling side content and deeper gameplay.

Man I played this game when I was like 10 or 11, and when this song played on this mission I was on the verge of tears because I thought Big Boss was intended to die. I can't imagine how sad I looked like holding my tears especially in that moment when Big Boss screams while shooting the machine gun. So much nostalgia from this game and song.

"No not outside. You'll be shot in a second." *Ignores and goes to town on the chopper* "Fuck that shit." -Big Boss.

"EUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH" Words of a poet, right there.

I could see this in slow motion, my Boss was dying, using the Sneaking Suit foolishly, the shells slowly falling to the ground as he runs outside shooting at the heli whilst Kaz tells him it's suicide. It was, amazing.

I haven't played this game in over 10 years yet I remember it 100% clearly, I could tell where you were going and where the enemies would be before seeing them. This part was engraved in my memory like many other Metal Gear moments ( First Ocelot fight in MGS, Raiden's first scene in MGS2, The Boss Fight in MGS3, the Microwave Room in MGS4 and Phantom Pain's last stand with Quiet come to mind as key moments from the other games ).

Whenever i hear that song , this was the Start of the FIFA world cup 2010 & it reminds me that i only have 3 weeks left until i graduate elementary and heading straight to middle school. i get super emotional, and all the people that were with me are gone and now i only have me & my girlfriend. Best Metal gear solid Game to remember

I remember being constantly being harassed by the helicopter, kept getting shelled, low rations, hellstorms of guards, I was like I can’t do this, but then Heavens divide came on and I was like *GAMER TIME* and powered through it. And in my opinion I felt like a true commadante willing to give his life for his country, his friends, and his world, to stop peace walker and the nukes from destroying the world

This one mission in Peace Walker has more soul than all the missions in Phantom Pain combined.

Oh my God... This is...this is just epic. This beyond handheld games. This is beyond console games. This is just...so amazing. I don't even have the game and I already want to give it a 10 out of 10. I just have to say thank you, Hideo Kojima, and everyone else who worked on this amazing title.

I really love this part when i first played it, im pretty beaten up and running out of supplies and ammo once i get here. when the music played i felt like a real badass and just went with it thinking this is how legends like big boss are made

This was bloody insane..... I thought to myself playing on the psp.... wtf.... but then the music played and just dame... the emotions is intense.... as I took all of them out.... it all went silent as the music faded, and all you heard was the sirens. Never in video game had so much expense as I just stood there of the situation and the elevator was clear.... went straight in and I just thought ok. This is it, what now? Lol

Not contempt with the BANGER that is heavens divide, they also had to use it on the most epic mission of the game. Phantom pain can learn a LOT with sins of the father....

The closest thing I can think of is the mission where Quiet leaves... but even that it's just tanks thrown at you with a "kinda" cool track. A good game without the "epicness" that metal gear has always had...

Snake Eater Ladder's Younger Brother, Heavens Divide Helicopter.

This is one of the most epic parts ever. Can't wait for the game to come out on the PS3 along with the remake of MGS2 and MGS3 in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on November 8, 2011.

This is indeed one of the peak moments in the game.

I just finished it earlier. I was a dumb noob so I went and camped corner armed only with a twin barrel, m191 and rank 3 level 3 m16a1. I just went guns blazing. I shot that chopper with my m16 using supply markers to replenish my supplies. It worjed, I killed them all. this was so lit. I did not even notice the lmgs as I fought!

Still remmember getting out of cover when the music hits the High note. Never forget. Amazing game. Amazing Memmories

I love this part of the game, I was low health, and then, I saw the Hind and i though "shit, im gonna die after all that long way -_-" but then, the song started playing, and i felt like "I CAN DO IT! >:(" and it worked, lol

This was such a great game. I wish this had been the last Metal Gear title. V was a step down compared to PW, and PW used all of its concepts well. Konami, put this game on the Switch. It's a perfect fit for Nintendo's portable console.

I didn't know that i had to fight an Helicopte xD so i come with a sniper and the first rifle that you got in the game. I used all my rations, couldnt ask help to mother base, and some how i did it, all i thought was "I can lose with this song playing"
