We need something on Solidus. Who is he, really? Why does Eva admit to Solid Snake that she gave birth to 2 Big Bosses, but doesn't mention a third? What if MGSV is more than just a prelude to Metal Gear, but a foreshadow to Solidus and Solid? Why did Solidus want to be known as Solid Snake, almost similar to how Venom would be known as Big Boss? What if Venom being a phantom to Big Boss, is what Solidus is to Solid Snake?

I feel like next year something is going to happen with the game since it'll be 9 years since the release and Venom Snake was in a coma for 9 years.

He was already massively over budget, and wasted loads of time by adding small ass details and having shitloads paid for sound effects and songs. Kojima is notoriously a pain to work with. Konami was done with his shit long ago but they decided that this time it wasn't worth the cost.

How about players suddenly controlling Solid Snake instead of Venom Snake in Outer Heaven. The difficulty of the fight against Venom Snake would be determined by what equipment players have been giving him throughout the game (or what you last equipped him with during the previous mission).

Not quite. Mgs1's briefing tapes have Naomi confusing Solid for Liquid because of the same length, but she knew something was up because the color was off. They later explain that Liquid's hair was originally dark as well, but got sun bleached by all his time out east.

"Liquid ? No, you're not..." Even Merryl mistook him for his twin brother the first time she met him. Interestingly, in the early concept arts of Yoji Shinkawa for MGS2 Snake was also pictured blond in his Plissken disguise

Don't know why everyone is telling you you're wrong. In the mgs1 briefing the colonel says that the only difference between the two of them is their skin tone. So they both have blond hair

Story telling- using manipulation as a way to build around the world and also show US what it would be like to be in the MGS universe with the Patriots controlling information 3. CQC, jungle environment 4.It's like a box, but you can roll in it 5. Open World which offers replayability and also introduces a way to experiment by testing things in the open world you can transfer that knowledge while doing a mission, for example comms equipment can be silently destroyed with the water gun and fires can also be put out. Useful for the mission where you NEED to take out the soviets communications equipment. Also the variety in playstyle is shown more in 5 than any other game

in retrospect, technology appears to stall after MGS5 chronologically. the metal gear in the first MG (not MGS) also looks pretty mild in comparison to RAY or Sahalentropus. REX was made blocky to accomodate the PS1 graphics, which was the reason all the guns were chosen as well, both Socom and the Famas are blocky and look good in game so the metal gears looking better the further we go in the series is sort of a fourth wall break from Kojima's side since technological limitations allow them to add more complex looking MG's

You misunderstood the entire point of metal gear as a whole. Snake could defeat liquid thanks to him having a reason to fight other than genes or memes, he had a strong will. That's why he also defeated both big boss and a mix of liquid and ocelot

The point of the MGS serie is that genes don't define you. Nor does your cultural background, as raiden shows. Not completely at last.

David has darker hair in MG and MG2, he only asks for scissors in the MGS1 briefing. His hair appearing lighter in the briefing could be a goof, or is meant to be a lighting thing.

No no, we agree. Venom was not bad but he lacked the charisma of og snake.But that I guess was intended, he was a decoy after all. It's abysmal how you see Snake in snake eater and him always speaking to venom barely professing anything. Only liked him really at "shining lights, even in death" eich was the only time he showed any sort of expression or opinion.

They both was kids in the 80s being set up to go down different paths thanks to the cia and major zero who wanted so much control over big boss kids and big mama couldn’t stop it even tho if you play mgs4 she wanted to stop it. Meanwhile the real big boss was out trying to fight the world as he said in the psp portable ops game he never wanted to be a father cause he wasn’t ready for kids but zero didn’t care to him it was all for control and domination which in the end didn’t work to his favor!

That’s true or a origin story on liquid how he escaped major zero and cia after being brainwashed would of made the game more epic but I guess kojima hand was forced so he gave us small pieces of the story that we have to think out ourselves! Yes snake would of been around the same age or one year older and it would of been cool to see his origin story as well being raised in the military not knowing he was a clone and never knowing who his parents are simply crazy story line but it all seems to come into place. Unless they allow kojima to do remaster of this game then he can put more into it!

Dark Hair is what the script officially says, not us. Snake was never confirmed to have blonde hair other than the MGS1 briefing, which could have been a case of lighting, since in Twin Snakes briefing he has dark hair, as well as in MG & MG2: Solid Snake. He is only heard asking for scissors at the end of the briefing. - P&S

No, Solid Snake has Brown Hair just like BigBoss In the first game he was indeed shown in blonde hair but in later Games his Artstyle was changed so now he is Brown hair canon wise
