Yeah I was pretty hesitant over the high price tag of the mgw, but after driving it, I think it was way worth it. Enjoy your shifter!

ZentRose Vengeance Racing put a cam, short throw, and GM T1 sway bars in my vette 2 weeks ago. This is a top notch , professional company that uses MGW exclusively. Now I know why. Yeah that's the first time I've encountered that on this car. I haven't taken it out in this cool weather before though.

Poly control arm bushings and poly engine mounts cured my wheel hop.

I hate my Hurst. Came with the car when I bought it. Definitely getting an MGW

Tires prolly are more important. Also, when its cold, its way worse. Wheel hop on the C5 is a pain in the ass to eliminate without solid mounting both your engine and tranny. But at that point it would be very uncomfortable to drive.

Own them both if you have the room. Having an S2000 and corvette is my favorite combo!

Replace trans fluid and fresh bleed on the clutch hydraulics will usually help crunchy shifts.

Yep S2k is a joy to drive. I just have to worry about turning up the boost and blowing up my differential!

Franco Channel the Hinson is a shorter throw but a lot more force is required to shift. Lots of people do not like that. There is more to a fast shift than just throw distance.

joeracer302 you are correct. That Hinson shifter was a damn joke. I sold mine. I literally installed it and took it out the same minute I put it in. As a matter of fact, I was doing a side by side comparison with another friend who has one. My shifts with the stock shifter were just as fast if not faster, than him with his Hinson. I went with a C6 shifter. I also mentioned this to Zent on Instagram.

Nope this car had a brand new tranny in it from GM. According to the records it had a second and third gear grind prior and they tossed in a new gear box.

@@ZentRose I had an 18 Camaro with a TR6060 that had a second gear grind as well I swear its all because of skip shift its the only commonality

The anti venom mod involves throwing a couple spacers on the detent plug in the trans. link: goo.gl/rh8jXD For the shocks I just used google shopping to find the lowest price.

California Z06 anti-venom mod makes shifting less notchy, which is really good to do with an aftermarket shifter, but works fine with stock shifter too. It’s just putting a washer/space on the detent plug so it doesn’t go in as far. It’s real easy to do, and if you don’t like the way it feels you can add more washers or go back to stock easily too.

Personally I don't have a lot invested in tech right now. I don't see how netflix can maintain their competitive advantage for much longer. I prefer boring companies with good financials that don't get heavy analyst coverage :)

I'm not familiar witht he RSX but maybe take a peak under the shift boot and see if it looks like an aftermarket piece.
