waynec38 Monsters in monster hunter will eventually die, even if your weapon is like a toothpick. All that matters is how you use it. As for size, its species is part of the elder dragon classification, meaning they are a cut above normal dragons and monsters. It has been seen since ancient times, with some of the earliest recorded sightings being the babylonians who gave it its name, Dara amadyura or the Armored Tower. The eggs are not too large, however the growth rate of the Dara amadyura is far faster than any other species, due to its size. However, they are still very rare, as they are territorial in nature than other species and do not travel out of their nests which they have made for themselves. . ... If you couldn't tell, only the first two lines are real. The rest is imagined.

I wonder how they are measured, because im just playing the first MH and the first bird-wyvern is a little bit taller than the hunter (175cm) and there it says almost 900cm on that monster

BlazinBro786 Then you'll be disappointed. do some research. Stamina System is implemented, if you want it play more than a few rounds, pay. Premium Weapons is confirmed, you can buy extremely strong weapons and armor with Real Money. Even picking up items on the floor take "Gloves", which of course, can be obtain by normal means, but considering how much items you need craft one piece of equipment. Extreme broken hitboxes, you can get hit with AIR against Rathian, the beta recorded only 5 percent of the players get through Rathian. Add in the stamina system in that = pay. Made by Tencent, infamous in Chinese MMO, single handedly destroyed multiple MMO with Pay-2-win features. There are damage numbers, I am not even kidding. The Chinese forum went dead after the second beta, simply because it is too shit. No controller support (for now) Want more? I live in HK and I gain access to MHO betas. It's better off paying monthly fee for MHF-G rather than playing this piece of shit.

BlazinBro786 Also, don't say Capcom will not do that. The game is made by Tencent, with Capcom's name in it, simply put Capcom have nearly nothing to do with MHO. Enjoy your dreams. I was once a supporter too until I see the truth for myself, extremely disappointing.

technically dara amadyura (the 44039,7 cm) is not exactly the biggest but rather the longest cuz it's a giant snake so amadyura is kinda even with morahn

daniel hanson He is the Great Elder, the Head of the new City, Dondoruma, in MH4G, he is the protector of Dondoruma, the story says that when he fought laoshan he split hi head in 2 with his big ass katana! XD

To answer your question, BOTH! All monsters have appeared in the Monster Hunter franchise expect the last one that attacked the green dragon (Rathian) and was then attacked by the Rathian's red mate (Rathalos). That monster is expected to be the Flagship monster for Monster Hunter 4G and hopefully Monster Hunter 4U, with 4G being released in Japan sometime this fall and 4U coming to USA early 2015. It is expected that both games will contain all the monsters showcased in the video and will be exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS.

Rahul Varghese Well, if you take for good the gameplay's rules Lagiacrus would beat the Rathalos because Rath is weak to thunder (I know that, on the other hand, Lagi is weak to fire but not as much as rath is weak to thunder) and Rajang would beat the Jho for the same reason, Deviljho is very weak to thunder, plus dragon element don't do nothing to Rajang. But if you are thinking on a more "realistic" fight I think Rathalos would beat Lagi because he can just fly around shooting fire balls to the helpless Lagi untill it dies. For Rajang vs Deviljho I can't really tell who have more chance to win, Rajang is faster, has thunder element and ranged attacks (thunder beams) but I think Deviljho's raw strenght could easily overkilling Rajang if Jho has a chance to directly bite it. I still bet on Jho because it's a kill-eat-sleep hell of a monster. :P

i guess lagi and rath is kind of a pointless fight since rath can fly away if he gets injured, and lagi can retreat into the water. but i guess for rajang vs devilijho the circumstances of the fight would affect the outcome, i guess.
