Well at least he was only marrying her for the orphan’s parents fortune and not in any way for the romance part AT ALL!!! You should also explain that to them as to why he was trying to marry Violet in part 2.

@@vixalett no problem. The whole show was based on a book series by Lemony Snicket, and I love how the Netflix show used so many lines from the book, though they did change violets inventions for some reason.

Why does everyone say that Count Olaf is terrible?! Yes, I know he really wasn't the nicest person, but in the past he was also a member of the VFD, which means he was once one of the good ones, after he lost his father he was alone... then the woman came with hair but no beard and the man with beard but no hair came into play, they saw that Count Olaf was lost and took advantage of it. They made him evil. If you knew his backstory, you might understand him.

She unintentionally killed Olaf’s dad and the tea pot was because of traitors and not being able to trust for something so valuable to be safe in the hands of one person alone
