Pierce is so strong that it erases the interest of pellet (don't get me started on normal shot). It's easily 2x stronger

@@jcc4543 spread 3 is 5pellets dealing 5motion value each so 5x5 MV, pierce 1 is is a 3hit bullet that deals 9MV per hit so 27 in total. Pierce is much easier to connect its 3hits than spread3. Spread struggles heavily to land each pellet on ennemies you generally hit 3 out of 5, it's also hard to be precise due to the nature of the ammo. It also has high recoil while pierce has very little. Oh and pellet will stagger ANY ally in vicinity. Pellet is objectively bad and way worse than pierce.lvl 3 pellet doesn't even compete with pierce1. It's just how it is. Normal 2 is 1x12mv and normal 3 is 1x10 MV but with a chance of ricocheting and reapplying the damage on the monster, up to 5 times. They are pretty bad. Doesn't mean you can't play them tho, I love running akantor hbg and crouch firing normal 3 and see them bounce everywhere.

4U introduced the seregios lbg becoming one of the best weapons for endgame in the series only because it reloads in every dodge.

i started playing 3U recently and picked up the bow. it's atrocious for underwater combat but on land it's pretty fun! i completely forgot you could perform arc shots and when i remembered, my hunt times dropped significantly. so fun!

The OP about the bowgun is you got to have all of the bowgun in the game, as the OP about bowgun can change element for weakness and sticky to stun. The strongest lbg in MH3 is four elemental bowgun rapid. good vid btw.

I rarely touch bowguns either & bow even less so. Trying to main ranged weapons comes with the extra burden of micro-managing your ammo types. Upgrading bowguns also isn't as straightforward as melee since its more about what ammo types they can/cant use over simply dmg. I believe the most I've ever use bowguns is in World & it's mostly just for abusing sleep bomb tactics for quick farming tempered nerg runs.

I could never get used to bowgun aiming in pre-5th gen games. Watching people play adept lbg made it look really cool but I couldn't do it myself lol

aerial sns is really fun and easy to use. you've got the sns' natural jumping ability + the added airtime so it's like a simpler insect glaive.

@@HazIsLazy fr. if you can try to bind the morph attack of CB to a single button. doing this pretty much gives you adept block in 4U. I did on my PC and it makes the game 2 times easier and more fun

You didnt play bow though. Btw everytime you saw your magazine glow in blue in adept and aerial it meant that you deal 10% more damage. In valor lbg when you are in valor style you get the equivalent of recoil +1, and if you valor relaoad, you get another lvl, meaning that you can actually fire some pretty powerful ammos with valor lbg and not care about sluggish reload animations with the valor reload.

Bowgun always been the jokes weapon in community Due to low dps and too many utility to mastered and you need to be rich as hell to make and buy the bullet (ain't cheap). But believe me, gunner is newbie weapon just need time to learn😂
