@@zealedzeal To further explain how awesome it is, some of the P3rd translators hang out there. We have online servers for P3rd, Fu, F1 and even XX if you have emulator -- you should check it out

On your Start Menu, check the Status and flip through the pages. There will be a table there that shows what skills you have in your armor pieces, how many skill points they add, and what skills you have unlocked. To unlock an armor skill, you just need to raise its number of skill points to the required number. For example, if you wear a Low Rank Jaggi Cap, it has 2 skill points in Attack. Add the Low Rank Jaggi Vest, it adds 2 more skill points in the Attack, for a total of 4 skill points. If you check the Status Table, it will show you that you need to have 10 points in Attack to unlock the Attack Up (Small) skill. 15 points to upgrade it to Attack Up (Medium) and 20 points to get Attack Up (Large). Wearing the whole Low Rank Jaggi Set gives you a total of 12 points in Attack, more than enough of Atk Up S, but not enough for Atk Up M. That's where the Decorations come in. If you check the details of the equipment, they have these slots, one of each. Crafting the Attack Jewel 1 and equipping it to the armor piece will add 1 more point to the Attack. If you add 3 Attack Jewel 1 to your armor pieces, you'll get a total of 15 points. Enough to get Atk Up M But we want to go even further beyond and try to get Attack Up Large, which requires 20 points. You add 2 more jewels in the remaining slots, only to find out that it only adds up to 17. Not enough to unlock the skill. That's where the Talismans come. Sometimes, Quests will give you Charms. In most times, you'll have to mine them. Mystery Charms. Shining Charms. Timeworn Charms. These Charms are refined into Talismans at the end of the Quests and Talismans are the equipments that give you additional skill points for skills. Supposedly you got a Mystery Charm, and it was refined to a Bishop Talisman that gives you 3 skill points in Attack. Equip that to your set and you will find that you have unlocked Attack Up Large, and is one of the best skills in the game.
