@@touremuhammad5983 Not really… The way the new cutscenes are narrated seem to be based on medieval folktales, whereas Rise’s cutscenes are based on Japanese-style storytelling. Daimyo’s cutscene keeps the base game’s style of narration since it occurs prior to the actual journey in Sunbreak. I can tell you prefer the poetic narration in Rise and, don’t get me wrong, I love it too. However, given Sunbreak’s focus on medieval-style things, it shouldn’t be surprising that the new cutscenes would be way different by comparison. Still, both of them are equally brilliant if you ask me.

A thing to note about sunbreak, it doesn't have as many monsters but all of the ones included are amazing to fight

They are 110x better than base rise designs. Base rise designs are there with frontier for some of the worst in the series. They had a solid 5 good ones….

@@eneskaradeniz4311 They're not bad man! Yokai based designs are personally very appealing to me. I liked Great Izuchi (probably the best starter monster to date, very fun fight that learns you pretty much anything to start going), tetranadon, bishaten, magnamalo, all of them. What I can say though is that narwa and ibushi are kinda meh elder dragons. I am sure some of rise's monsters are likely to become a staple member of next mh games' roasters

@@HunDev_PL The ones you named are good. But many of the rise monsters take the yokia motif WAY too far. Sunbreak has monsters that are based on western folktales. But it isn’t their whole personality. Garangolem at a glance is just this huge amazing monkey with cool double element arms. Without being told he’s based on Frankenstein nobody would know. The only one that really leans in as far as base rise monsters do is malzeno. He’s straight up a vampire. But unlike many rise additions in my opinion, he looks good doing it. Like there is amazing designs like tetranadon or great izuchi. The flagship is also beautiful. But then you get things like somnacanth which are terrible in my opinion. Way too much yokia and way too little actual animal. Which is what monster hunter is always trying to do. Always remind you these are living breathing animals. Not ghost creatures of Japanese origin. The final bosses are weird and they definitely fit final boss status. But the whole talking thing I could have done without. No need for that.

Yes it is, rise is a switch a and PC exclusive, but if you don't have any of those the next best version is monster hunter world. For console and pc.

Theres an option when you are selecting the cutscenes in the galery that says: Without Effects or smt like that, that will make it not show the text and it also will turn off the tv distorsion thing from the Base Rise intros. Also if you set all the npcs voices volume to 0 in settings that will make the cutscenes to not have the narration. I hope I explained it well >.

Kinda, they are basically cave men but in cat form that can be trained to help hunters in hunts, they are Calle felynes and one example of felynes are the Meylnx type. So your kinda right.

Not much, he's just a magnamalo that has lived longer and has more experience controlling his Hellfire. He is also the same one from 50 years ago that almost destroyed your village and has the scars from the fight against Hamon and Fugen.
