Me What a player

He's a pretty good player but nowhere close to being the Super Eagles X-Factor. He's won no major honours, hasn't played for a major club, has never been a top scorer anywhere, etc. Osimhen was by far the most impactful attacker we had at the Afcon, with the most chances created, and he simply had bad luck with goals. Just the number of goals he had that were disallowed would have made him the top scorer [4 if I recall correctly].

@@redeyed33333Lookman is a far better Footballer than Osimhen. The fact that you think Osimhen’s status or popularity means we should build a team around him is foolish. A player like Osimhen can barely be impactful if he doesn’t have skilful players like Lookman creating chances for him. Whereas players like Lookman, Boniface, Iheanacho, Chukwueze, Moses Simon, can make things happen on their own. Just look at Osimhen at Napoli, he’s practically useless when his teammates don’t create anything for him because he doesn’t have the creativity or skill to make something tangible happen for himself (apart from winning penalties). Lookman is a far better passer, dribbler, more creative, more vision, better weak foot, more versatile, and even a more accurate finisher, Look at Osimhen’s goal conversion rate and you’ll see he’s not even as clinical as Lookman. Just because Osimhen plays for Napoli and has won a trophy doesn’t mean he’s the “X-Factor” when there are far better and talented Footballers in the team.

The rest of your statement is just more nonsense that shows you have an elementary understanding of football. A player like Lookman cannot survive without a player like Osimhen. It is q symbiotic relationship - which should make sense if you understand that football is a team game. Same at Napoli. The creative player is nothing without the outlet. Lookman's form in the Afcon was significantly based on Osimhen occupying the centre backs and leaving acres of space for him to run into. That is the template behind almost every single goal he scored. Not skills. Not dribbling. Not creativity. Just well timed runs feeding off Osimhen's presence. You know nothing. P.s Osimhen created the nost chances of any Super Eagles player at Afcon. The stats are there. Like I said, you know nothing at all.

Osimhen that can’t dribble, that has a poor first touch, can’t create chances for himself. And you’re trying to tell me Osimhen is more important than a player like Lookman. Osimhen is an average footballer that relies on his physical abilities because he doesn’t have the technical skill to do anything tangible. That’s why he spends 90 minutes running around trying to contribute something. Whereas strikers like Harry Kane hardly run but still get way more goals and assists because they actually have the footballing talent to make things happens, not relying on runs in behind or occupying defenders physically. Osimhen is an overrated, bang average footballer, who has nothing but physicality, no intelligence, no skill, no technical quality and easy to sus out, that’s why teenage defenders like Pau Cubarsi can pocket him completely in UCL matches. 🤣 You Osimhen fans are so delusional, supporting one average footballer, that’s only has physicality.

@@David91777 Do you think at all? Bang average and overrated but hotly desired all over Europe, after leading Napoli to a first league title in 30 years and winning the Golden Boot in the process. But the one you call more talented has never scored and assisted more than 14 G+A in his entire career despite being a year older. They play in the same league, btw, making comparisons even more simple and direct. So why make such blind, stupid arguments?? SMH.
