I want to get more practice with the game, so I've decided to commit to running this quest at least once every other day.
23 runs later and we're back with Gunlance! Made a bunch of changes to the sets based on everything I've learned with the quest thus far, and it looks like sub 34 is consistent, even with all the hiccups like failing to mount Safi phase 3 or missing the flinch shot into the crag and messing up a clagger jump attack for the second Alatreon which probably cost me the pre-escaton. Pretty excited to be doing more runs with my main weapon especially now that I have somewhat better understanding of this quest. Also gonna start throwing rocks at Alatreon after Escaton since a lot of my runs had him live at 1HP because of the HP lock. I'm looking to get familiar with other weapons that I might end up liking for this quest, but in the meantime we're going back to Gunlance.

Used a mod for controlled food skills. Food skills used are as follows
Quest start:
- Felyne Bombardier
- Felyne Booster

Using Fexty's mod (Palico is guaranteed to play Attack song at first use) - www.nexusmods....
Also using invisible mantle mod because I like endscreens not getting ruined by mantles.

Ruiner: 27010
Lunastra: 21930
Safi: 14000
Both Alatreons: 45000
Arch Tempered outlines don't actually mean anything in terms of behavior, it's up to the mod author's discretion as to what type of AI is used or if any behaviour changes are implemented.

what mods are you tunning aside from the quest pack and felyne rng thing, like whats highlighting the items that are dropping and any other qol mods that i haven't noticed?

Everything else I'm running is purely visual, so I leave them out. I have mostly cosmetic mods installed including the item drop highlights and some blood vfx mod. The item drop mod is called Dropped Items efx on nexus.
