I'm definitely thinking about trying out the Longsword after watching this video.

I really recommend LS, this is my third day playing with it and I fell in love with it since my first hunt. I watched two guides, wrote down all the combos and spent like 20 minutes in the training room practicing, at first it was a bit overwhelming, but I kept trying and after I learned the essential combos I went and hunted KT with randoms (yes, I went all out lol) and I love it, it is so fluid, rewarding and satisfying I didn't think I was gonna like it this much. I spent all night hunting KT and today I managed to solo her in 12 minutes in my second try. I now have no doubts why it is the most popular weapon in the game. I was a GS main but I think LS is gonna take that place, it is much more satisfying in my opinion.

I’ve mastered dual blades, long sword and insect glaive. I really try to help my teammates especially when they're down, but nobody heals except me. It’s really annoying how I was almost able to solo kulve with dual blades once, but then I got killed by her lava. Also, i see that dual blades takes a little longer to get through phases than long sword imo. For insect glaive, I get all 3 extracts, charge up my kinsect with slinger ammo, but then I just keep getting hit by her roll attack. Tried pretty much everything, but I’ll get there soon.

@@randomuserjusthere4930 Yeah I feel you that lava attack is so crazy, you'll definitely get there. And how do you find dual blades? I've been interested in trying them out, I use Bow as well and dual blades looks so fun

It's not based on part breaks. She has hp thresholds to move from area to area. At 70% health she moves to area 2, and moves to area 3 at 40%.

@@thehat8006 - I realized, I still haven't managed to beat her solo. I get to the last area and that's where I always fail.

Temporal is a crutch, and Glider Mantle is the ultimate passive Mantle + free 2 level 4 slots that are basically permanent due to its recharge time

With 2 attack 4+ and crit 4+ you can also do that much dmg
