you can fly singleplayer from the front if you really want too, just use the "C" key to request control and boom! You have an insanely huge workload and 0 advantages!

You didn't talk about the "Fun-mode" of the gun. Burst lenght on long, fire rate on high. And then hooooooold the trigger

Here's something i discovered regarding the rate of fire selection. Use the higher rate of fire to get through armor better, because more rounds will get into less area. Use the slower rate of fire to spread your rounds over a longer area to hit smaller targets like infantry.

I am brand new to the Hind. I've been using the ka-50 for a long while now as choppers used to be my favorite kind of aircraft. However: I had become really bored with the KA50... It is fun sniping from a distance, always hovering with my head down in the monitor picking off targets, it just wasn't too exciting. I would end up putting the gun in manual mode and doing staffing runs. Enter the hind: I LOVE all it's cannons and the hind's style of rush in and straff the targets! I am up to 75 ground kills in it since buying this module 2 days ago. Following your tutorials I also finally got the hang of it's missile systems. I love how the ai does a "combat run" torward them. There's just something about zipping around and blowing things up that makes the hind so much fun! I hope the ka50 forgives me, but I think I have a new favorite chopper. Plus I find it quite easy to control. It is a beast to learn, but once you tame it: it is a pleasant chopper! I pre-ordered the AH64D.... That is my all-time favorite... I hope once early access is released that it makes my dream come true of what SHOULD become the #1 chopper of DCS World and be a true wreckingball in the battlefield.

It's been one of my favorite gunships since I saw it in Metal Gear Solid 1 (that was a Hind D however), this is absolutely a blast to fly and I feel retarded for having never used these autopilot systems. *facepalm*

Hind is not designed to attack with ATGMs in a hover, It is almost impossible to line up the reticles and stay in a hover

You basically never want to use long bursts for the gun. Better off short burst of high rpm

Hi Cap and RC. Is there going to be missions with "The Devils Charriot" and a must for 2 man crews? Like the Soviet/Afghan ruckass inspired type with Soviet made "Whirlie Bird's" only? (Would look epic!!)

Great video. I love flying this helicopter but its largely useless in DCS with the exception of the atg6. You get close to something like a shilka or a truck with AAA on the back and you die a horrible death

Automatic aiming not working for gun pods. They shoot well above aiming crosshair. You need to switch to manual aiming. Hope ED will fix that some day.

not a computer calculated one. The "CCIP" mode makes calculations using only the aircraft radar altimeter and (dive) angle (and maybe the aircraft's airspeed?), so it can never track a moving/flying target. You can however without any adjustment use the Manual Sight mode for use in Air to Air combat. Just be prepared to pull lead yourself!

@@marco2571 Sometimes the gun comes default without ammo. Not sure why. But just make sure the ammo is filled up

Go to options and then on the Special Tab for the Mi24P you can find a drop down to select the English Cockpit there.

Clunky crap? It’s a hind lol it’s a legendary helicopter. And has seen a huge amount of action in its time. It’s proven itself as an effective weapon.
