When I turn my robot vacuum on in the beginning everything is fine but then the map disappears and it starts giving me that the robot is offline. I’ve restarted it multiple times and I still face the issue

I have the option map management but it doesnt offer to me the option to set and name different areas on the map, only to create/exclude regions and walls. It happened after my wife accidentaly deleting the map, because we had this option before. I've already scanned the entire house a lot, but it doesnt not work again.

hi Why my robot can only saving 80% in the map management...even though I did run it for several time already... is that a malfunction !??

Does it start and end at the charging dock, uninterrupted? If it does, then try again the next day. If it is still stuck, you need to reset the map and start from 0%

I moved my bed for other place in my room. Now my robot is not cleaning in the area where the bed was. Is it possible to edit the map only of my bedroom? Can I rescan only my bedroom ou I need to rescan my entire house?

you can trick it by manually moving it (using the remote control menu) to the bed, and tell it to clean. let it finish and return to dock by itself. But this not always work. the only surefire way is by rebuilding the whole map

I have the mop 2 lite correct me if I’m wrong but i think the “mapping” within the app is just for show for this particular model and the vacuum itself doesn’t seem to have (much) memory.

The vacuum robot have made three full clean ups and still I can't save the map, appears in history but I can't schedule any specific clean up to be done. What can I do?

@@anwarchehayeb2833 how many percentage the map saving progress? Of its stuck, you need to reset the map and start from scratch.

@@moreuse we made a full house cleaning so the Map could be created, so far 3 times as described at the app but nothing changed. I will try reseting all and begin from scratch. Thank you

undortunately essential doesnt have mapping capability

only 1 map :( it can be moved to another floor, but it wont save the map

@@moreuse Hi, if i have a two story house, is there a way to save the bottom floor map with virtual walls, and for that bottom floor map not to be deleted if i take it upstairs?

@@TeslanTech it looks like only one map can be saved for this model unfortunately, and im unable to take it upstairs without it trying to redo the map or edit it in some way.

Same, I don’t have the button experimental feature. Every time the robot starts to clean, it will make a new map. Plus, when the robot enters in the same room he already mapped, he is mapping again as a new room

This only works on the chineese version, dosen't work on the international Mop P. Be aware!!!

@@wafa3694 if you don't mind hacking stuff at the risk of damaging it, I've seen people talking about replacing the firmware to the Chinese version through some kind of USB connection to the MopP. In my case, I just decided to live with it, try to keep a map for the main floor, and just let it run blindly on the other floors, and remember to say NO when the app tells you that it has found a new map and wants to replace it. Fortunately most of the time, running it blindly works fine...

betul. setelah "map saving" aktif, robot harus start dari charger, muter-muter bersihkan rumah, dan berakhir di charger.

@@bogdandinu503 eu m am resemnat, din ce am inteles robotul asta nu are senzorul ala de masurare a distantei, fiind prima generatie...urmatoarea generatie xiaomi mi vacuum mop c1 are senzorul langa butonul de on/off. Nu mai incerca cu China, ca am incercat eu tot ce se putea:)) ma oftic doar ca nu am luat urmatoarea generatie care era cu 150 lei in plus..

Hi, to create map, must it run through the entire house by itself or can I do it area by area? And by uninterrupted does it mean I cannot use the manual remote function during it's cleaning to move it to certain spots (because my house has a weird layout and when it was running by itself there were areas that it missed). Also does it mean I cannot click return to dock, but rather have to wait for it to end the cleaning by itself? If it runs out of battery, does it automatically restart cleaning after charging?

for the 1st question: need to run thru the entire house by itself. For the following questions, "yes" to all of them. Thus cannot use manual remomte, cannot click return to dock. It will go to dock to recharge and resume by itself, must be uninterrupted. after the map is made, you can do anything you want.

@@moreuse what if after it runs by itself there are corners in the house that it didn't go to? no way to add it in?

@@dawajugi after it completes the map, it will continually improve the map. usually it will go to uncharted areas near the end of a cleanup phase, if already have the map made.
