I wonder why they need an extra controller. The bulbs should directly connect to a router.

i bought a wifi mi-light bulb rgbcw and i was wondering why i dont see it in wifi. You need a extra controller to control it? So only with a bulb its kinda useless?

if you have just one bulb and not that little box from the video...you won't be able to use it

I was able to find the answer. You have to touch and hold the "on" button on the android app. Thanks anyway.

Try this to light up white: There are 4 button at the bottom "I - 0" / On and off 1 of them should white things up :) so Try to press and hold down "I" / On untill white light appears..

I find the same problem. And because of that, I consider it to be a weak product for daily usage.

Have you tried pressing the "I" button longer? This works on the classic RGBW remote control, and it should also work on your mobile phone. When the "O" key is pressed longer, the light should be lit in night mode. Try it :) The new RGB + CCT remote already have a button for the white color "W"

you will be able to do that connected to any wifi network.

PixelHex yes, it creates it's own wifi and from that you can set it to connect to your home wifi

It has too...I have seen on Samsung S7 and Iphone 11. It can be controlled without wifi. But I cannot do it with my Samsung S10+...When you open your MiLight app, you must see the icoon world as well, then you can controll your lights outside the house using your data internet. My problem is my phone and stlil searcing for the solution....

if the base it's connected to the internet you should be able to control it even if you are not on the same network

Redskull, funny thing, I just tested the app on my Iphone and I was surprised that I can control the bulb via internet. On my android device I still can't control the bulb via internet. So I guess that it's the problem with app.

IT arrived very fast, thanks for your tutorial. It is so cool effect!. The controller has no much wifi range I think, but It worked fine when I put it close to the router. Hope they make versión of the controller with network connection for big houses.

I call bullshit! It doesn't connect. The app is unable to find anything connected to the Wifi network. And if it does find something connected, it's unable to find a Wifi network. "LED MOINITOR" Nuff said! Don't waste your time with this junk! Go buy a Philips HUE system.
