I love this!! It is amazing how much better the dark Mia looks on you after just that little bit of trimming. One of the reasons I love curly wigs is because they are so forgiving when you do a little modifying. I just can't quite get the same effect from straight wigs, but thinning and trimming are so much easier on curly wigs. You are going to help so many of our sisters with this one! Love seeing you and can't wait to talk again and hear how everything is going! ❤

Love both Mia on you! "Age appropriate". Gurrrrrl, ageless...come on! I liked it before and after you cut the darker one. I have Mia in a red and I can get that stock photo look with it at the part. Manufacturers as we know are so not consistent! I love the flip and I will try that to see what happens. Look at you, flipping and cutting on camera. I am one who will alter wigs to suit me, but I don't have the stones to do it while filming! Wig Wonder Woman. Super cute! ❤

I got this Mia from Denise Sheets, she has several videos on her channel trying to get her to work and just gave up... After I chopped this baby up, I wore Mia daily till she died 🤗 Thank you so much for watching Coast Daze 🥰 you made my day ❤

You look beautiful in both shades that style is perfect...your eyes are beautiful!!! I still have to get up the courage to slay my wigs😂 I do cut and this some but very little. You're amazing at cutting and making a wig your own! I agree...when you flipped the part to the other side she looked much more natural! I have 2 girl monos that I know I'm never going to wear...I've been spritzing the medium brown one with water and crunching her and hanging her upside down...but..yuk....just too much hair for me🤷🏻♀️ Love your videos and tutorials ❤ Enjoy your weekend 🥰

Hi Dawn! Glad to see you again. You really did a nice job on trimming this wig. I find so many I really like then think maybe they will be to long for me. I am going to try this on a old one I just wear when I clean house. Yes I "never" go without hair. You really look beautiful in them both. So nice to see you are getting all moved in. We will be moving soon to Port St Lucie Fl as we built a house and it's almost finished. I am not looking forward to all the work. Have a blessed weekend!❤

I did have a lot of fun styling Donna, but I haven't been wearing wigs and now I really have to again - I totally feel like I may have lost my touch 😲 I am nervous to start wearing wigs again... Isn't that crazy?

I have this wig and have never worn it out. I will try this! I have Julianne too and feel like it has never looked good on me. Sitting in a box ...definitely need a bang . You made this look great! I wish I could wear darker colors...look more natural to me. Really cute Dawn ...thanks a bunch!😘

Great video. I love the wig and you look so pretty. I watched your video with the makeup tutorial; really helpful. I have such hooded eyes and appreciate any help on that. I love the style of this wig and it looks great on you but that color really darkens you up, A lighter color or frost does much better things for your eyes and complexion. I love all your videos; we have almost the same taste in wigs and makeup. Thanks!

Unfortunately the models we see in the wig booklets like Vogue, the models have a professional stylist style the wigs they wear, so no wonder they look so different when you get one & try it on at home.

Oh I loved this! Love you in both colors but I think I prefer the darker. So funny how we all see things differently. Now, I do not know how in the world this girl has missed my radar completely!! But thanks to this video she is now on it and at the top of my list and if for some reason I have "pesky problems" I will know what to do!! I LOVE her! Oh my, Dawn! The wig did not make you look older. In fact, it looked quite lovely on you. But you can get away with any style, really. You did indeed make it look adorable! So I have a question for you; what are the advantages of doing wig reviews? There are so many out there. I have many wigs but at 65, I’m not young either. I feel like I’d have to have a face lift to put myself out there with all my wigs. 😳. Thanks so much for this helpful cutting tutorial. I might try it on one of my older wigs

The curl pattern is totally different from the manufacturer’s photo. You work your wigs well to overcome issues. The mocha gold really suits you.

OMG Dawn, ❤elanie here again I cant believe you mentioned Jon Reneau's Julianne !!! I just bought one on a a sale on Toffee Truffle, shes 100% Hand tied with a LF and OMG, it was crazy instant Love like just today, I wrote a post on ..darn I fidgot what wig sight asking if anyone was selling a Julianne in coffee Truffle or any color really, I have to have a back up lol. Anyway Ur whole flip tha part thing blows y mind how u can just recreate such beautiful wave patterns that look so natural...u kno me ,I'm watching Much love ❤elanie🤩

Dawn - glad to see that your elbow is much better. I saw one of your videos that you mentioned using Armour All on your wigs. What do you use it for and how do you apply it (just spray)? Thanks so much for the information.

So nice to see a new video from you. 😊 Could you do a close up shot of the lace part while it is on? I am so curious as to how natural that looks. Also would you have to wear a wig cap underneath to hide your natural hair from being seen through the cap?

Inspirational! Thank you - any chance of cutting straight wig bang and taking the weight out? I have a gorgeous Balance by Belle Tres but it’s so heavy, I look like Cousin It. I love the hair but am struggling with it - I flip it and it is not a happy thing at all...

Daily Dazzle and Dawn Stamper you are kind! It’s a face flopper and heavy / I love the style - I lack the skill to modify. This video was so useful and I love and suit the wigs you wear because permatease and 80’s hair look fantastic - but it’s an expensive wig which scares me to death - have a lovely weekend x

Same way Libby, if you're wanting to do the back... I usually leave the back until it starts needed it due to wear and tear though - just do tiny increments at a time if you try this 🥰

OMG....that's MY hairstyle!! LOL...curly same shape with bangs. I have wig hair!! HA!!..Ps. I am 71 but thanks to good genes I look younger than my age. I will NEVER have short hair. :)

Yes!!! I went to high school in Wichita, and my two sisters live in Wichita! I try to get back there to visit, but it isn't anywhere near often enough... I have Mia and I love her. I’m fairly new to wigs. Can you tell me how you take care of her? Mine is looking a bit dry already and she’s only about 6 weeks old. I’ve washed her one time. Any tips would be much appreciated.

I find it somewhat offensive that you state you have to be Caucasian in order to wear this wig. I am Hispanic and I know that I could totally rock this wig in either color. 🤨

My sincerest apologies The_Aurora_Borialis 🙏 I tried to clarify that anyone could wear this one - I had recently talked to a lady in her 70's who liked this but felt to would be too youthful on her and I was attempting to say that, with a little modification, I think it would be great on anyone 🤗 Please accept my apology and I will do better going forward not to make any sort of reference like I did here again 💞
