My favorite pants tutorial. The easiest i swear. I made pants for my husband and two sons many moons ago from watching this. And now rewatching this again i'm going to make a wide leg pants for myself.

Thank you Mia, my first attempt at sewing pants was some 15 years ago, they turned out ok. I loved the way you made these from an old pair of pants, that obviously fit well. What a great idea, as I don’t think I’d be able to alter a pattern to fit me. I’m going to dust the cobwebs off my old sewing machine, and give them ago. Happily watching from Australia 🇦🇺🐨

1:59 переднию часть нужно было на 1см больше срезать, тк в итоге у вас 9:21 передняя часть топорщится/вздувается. Резинку не вшиваю, продеваю, когда готово изделие. Переделать погрешности, с вшитой резинкой, уйдёт больше времени. А так идея замечательная. Ещё бы карманчик, с правой стороны, чуть-чуть выше колена. На днях сшила, удобно.

This is the best how to sew pants tutorial I’ve ever seen online. You make it clear how to mark the fabric and the elastic; it’s just very well done. I would like to make full skirt, knee length shorts and I was going to use the one pair I have in that style as a pattern but I’m not a very experienced sewer. I don’t want to make a big mistake and waste the fabric. I want to make my homemade ones a little fuller in the skirt than the store-bought ones that I have. Your video here gives me the courage to try it and if I get really brave I can make my own pants, in fabrics I really like!!! Thanks
