Here's how I made my DIY full bed canopy out of PVC pipes! The final product is beautiful, just a fraction of the cost of ready-made canopies, and it's SO easy and fun to make. What is the size of the bed I have a queen size can i use the measurement?

Mac Arthur my bed size is full so queen would probably need to be slightly bigger!

How is that secure on the bottom.? I found frames that are secured under the bed legs.

@@almamacarthur3821 i have king size. What size PVC pipes will i need? This is really the best tutorial, other than that. Cannot find a canopy bed with rails for under $ 400 FOR KING SIZE. Its CRAZINESS.

I am so thankful for your video. I am an old widow who wanted to fulfill a childhood dream of having a canopy bed. You can afford a canopy bed, I got my king-size canopy frame for only $34.29. eBay is the way to go.

Thank you so much for posting this. I wanted an inexpensive canopy but kept reading concerning reviews on the sturdiness of the lower-end canopy bed frames. With plastic PVC pipes, you don't have to worry about safety if anything falls down and it is easy to disasemble or throw out if you change your mind or have to move. This was a great idea, thanks for sharing! I can't wait to build my own canopy setup.

I love you!!!! Thank you! My daughter has a beautiful full size bed, and I wanted to add a canopy to her bed to make it more magical. This frame is saving me from having to buy a whole new bed frame since hers is already so beautiful and "her." I found 9 ft panels of fairy lights on Amazon, so In am going to paint the tubing white and add glitter, hang the lights and a lot more sheers. I can't wait to get this started! You are a genius!

Look the idea of decorating the piping even more. I was thinking of using a metallic spray paint or using painters tape with two colors for a little barber shop pattern.

Thank you so much. I just bought a mosquito net (king size) for camping. And instead of using ropes to tied the net to tree branches, i was trying to find a way to do a pvc frame for my camping net. And i found your demo. Thank you as you proved to me it was feasible for a low cost. Merci ! 👍💕

When painting pipes, it's actually easier to buy paint in a can and a few pairs of those cheap jersey gloves and stick your hands in the paint and run your hands up abs and down the pipes. It's much faster and the paint is much more consistent without runs! Painting small round pipes with a can of spray paint can be a pain in the butt! 😁😁😥
