Patriots are basically the home team for Germany. When the NFL starting being televised and gaining popularity in Germany, that coincided with 20 years of Patriots dominance, where they were basically in the Super Bowl every other year, on average, for two decades (or losing in the AFC championship game to Indy, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, or Broncos a few times each). For that reason, the featured game in Germany usually involved Tom Brady and the Patriots beating somebody.

German here: Bandwagon fan culture is big in Germany, that's why lots of American football fans here became Patriots fans during the Brady/Belichick era. It originates from our soccer culture, because FC Bayern Munich is so heavily dominant in our league (back-to-back champions for over a decade, before that they won at least every 2-3 years). If you want to see your team win the championship, you only have one option to root for, that's how sports fans get conditioned here.

After watching this game, I think this game is pre-determined for the Chiefs. This is coming from longtime Fins fan. Because it seems Fins are giving up on the game if they were told by NFL Higher Ups. Plus, NFL is milking the storyline of Taylor and Travis' relationship even though both of them informed NFL curb all attention of their relationship or they love it! Lately, I read and heard rumblings from conspiracies that NFL becoming more like WWE. Owners working out storylines of each game on who they wanted in Super Bowl. 1st, it was New Jets with Aaron Rodgers taken the helm as their QB marching their chance for 2nd Super Bowl in over50 years until he has season ended injury in 4 plays. Then now, Taylor Swift interest in Travis Kelce thanks to her or his friends, sideline reporters. But I hoping that I am wrong about the intentions of NFL.

Actually the doner got invented in Germany believe it or not. Even though it clearly is from a Turkish background, many say that the Döner in Germany is in some places even better then in turkey
