The Miami Heat hold the 15h overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft and have plenty of team needs. One of the Heat’s roster flaws is not having a competent backup center that can also play alongside Bam Adebayo. Indiana center Kel’el Ware is an intriguing NBA Draft Prospect that could check both of those boxes for the Miami Heat. Ware is 19 years old and played two seasons of College Basketball at Oregon and Indiana. Ware averaged 16 points per contest to pair with 10 rebounds a night. Ware could go anywhere in the first round of the NBA Draft, and maybe Heat president Pat Riley values him enough to take him with the 15th pick. I feel that free throw % is a better indicator of elite shooting at college since the 3pt line is a bit closer. His being in the low 60s is a bit concerning but he’s definitely an interesting prospect

Heat should try to get Donovan for Herro, Jaime and future first round picks. Maybe even try a 3 team trade Jarret Allen , caris to Pelicans, Caleb, Herro, Jaime, and picks to Cavs and Heat get Donovan Mitchell and Jonas. If not then we go get Dejounte Murray, Lauri Markkanen, or Malik Monk sign and trade for Herro and a future pick from Kings for Malik Monk, Caleb or Highsmith, and/or future 1st picks. Draft a big like Zach Edey or KEL'EL WARE and Hunter Sallis probably most underrated best PG in the 2nd round. Zach Edey is NBA ready, great touch on offense, can pass out the double, and when you need an easy bucket. Sign Jonas in free agency. I love this teams chance with the new roster after this move. If you trade Jimmy it has to be 5 first round draft pick and 2 young players. Dejounte or Hunter Sallis Terry or Malik Monk Duncan Jaime Jimmy Niko Bam Kevin Love or Alex Karaban Zach Edey Jonas Val

Draft Zach Edey. 7’4” size, inside scoring. Bam can now attack undersized defenders away from the rim. Shaq didn’t shoot 3’s if he was around he’d still win 🏆

I dont understand why we would need to add value on top of Herro to get Mitchell? I mean maybe throw in a future 2nd maybe, but Herro is near the ballpark of Mitchell in trade value by himself and its not like Mitchell is going to suit up for any other team but us. Adding value on top of Herro is bidding against ourselves and we hold all of the leverage in trade discussions.

@@heatreport you think Herro isn't in the ballpark value wise? He's 4 years younger and has a ton of upside. He could easily average 29 and 8 in the right situation next year.
