Here is our "Way To Early" 2024 Miami Hurricanes preview and predictions video for every college football game of the 2024 season.
We're going to go game by game and break each matchup down. Along the way we will predict the final outcome of each matchup, and predict Alabamas final record on the season.
The SEC as a whole has gone through massive changes this year. The BIG 10 has added Washington, USC, UCLA and Oregon Ducks. We have the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners coming into the SEC conference. The road to the SEC championship is now more difficult. We have also had Nick Saban, the GOAT himself retire. We welcome in Kalen Deboer as the new Head Coach of the Crimson Tide. Kirby Smart though is still in charge in the SEC conference. The college football playoffs have also expanded to 12 teams now starting this year. Brent Venables looks to compete with other SEC coaches. Dan Lanning is re tooling. LSU Tigers and Brian Kelly look to replace Heisman winner Jayden Daniel’s. Napiers try's to get the Gators back to a bowl game. FSU looks to get back to playoff contention. The Texas A&M Aggies look to rebound under Mike Elko and the departure of Jimbo Fisher. Mario Cristobal looks to try to build on last seasons campaign. Marcus freeman looks to take Notre Dame to the next level. Colorado Buffaloes under Deion Sanders. Tennessee Vols.
Let's take a close look at each of these games being of season to end.

I hope Mario went to Coaching College for learning some new techniques to get the most out of his players, how to scheme an overall game plan and how to manage the sideline calls. EVERYONE who follows Cristobal knows that every season he blows a game he should have won, a "gimme" game that he lost because of a bad call (kick or go for it), a bad plan (stressing the outside run game), getting out-coached (see Mack Brown). Those losses are way too often to an inferior team (Tennessee State College For the Blind) because of the incompleteness of Cristobal's coaching. Better to bet on the 9 wins than the 10+ expected. As long as Cristobal is in charge, the U will NEVER finish undefeated. Remember, you can still win a National Championship with a loss.

Great output I can realistically see Miami going undefeated all they have to do is stay focused in games and control their emotions and be smart ( coaching )! But I'm all honesty look back at all our games last years but add cam ward we would have been undefeated all our losses came from poor quarterback play timely picks in huge moments so take that and look at our team this year

You’re 100% right. That’s a really good point, some people aren’t giving Ward his respect. If Ward is on Miami they may run table last season. He’s their best QB they’ve had in forever. He has a lot of experience, he won’t be a TVD. Miami will be the most talented team roster in every game this year. If they drop one they beat themselves, talent is no issue for sure

Won't win it all this year, but I agree 12-0. History has me wanting to say 11-1, but I literally can't pick a game they will lose. Maybe California because of the travel, but I doubt it. Just have to shut their RB down. Talent wise, Miami has no excuses. Miami is NOT losing to Florida and Fsu this year. Just not happening ! Not this year ! Don't know what Vegas sees in fsu, Miami has the better roster and quarterback. TBH Florida has a better chance at beating Miami than Fsu does because it's the first game of the year in the Swamp ! I guess Louisville could be a legit threat especially because of coaching but they just turned most of their roster over. Not sure what to make of them honestly. Miami is evolving. Can't base everything off what they have done historically. They didn't invest for 20 years, now they are all in ! #TheUIsBackToWork 🙌

I agree 100% with everything you said. There ain’t a team on the schedule that is more talented then Miami, so no excuses. I agree about UFs chances of beating Miami being greater, it’s game 1, anything can happen. But Mario better not let the team down this season, no excuses

It’s weird because we can basically acknowledge Miami has 2-3 real opponents on this schedule and everything else is cakewalk. Only if and FSU recruit anywhere near same talent level. But also what game sparked so much confidence for this year? Or is it just because they have a transfer qb and rb

@@calvinblack9459 excellent questions. I think it’s mainly the roster moves made in the off-season. RB and QB cannot be overlooked. Behind that top 10 O line, that can be deadly. But UM does have a new secondary, so their D line better continue to get pressure to buy those guys some time. UF and FSU rosters should not be overlooked as you mentioned mentioned. Even V tech is sneaky good. They can go 11-1, or have some let downs and coaching blunders and finish 9-3

@@3rd-And-Long yeah I see 8-4/9-3 with losses to any of the following: UF, Louisville, FSU but could see either Cal or USF pulling a stunner upset. Cam Ward was good but not lethal to me. He’s no Jayden Daniels. Butnits going to be exciting season nonetheless

@@Canes692 so imagine how I felt when middle Tenn state won..and GT…needing OT to beat UVA or not even scoring 10pts vs NC state. Which one of those teams had more talent than Miami or better coaches than Miami? And you think the teams I said; all with more talent than teams that beat Miami thus far since Mario took over, is farfetched? Please enlighten me. I’d even have more confidence vs UF if it were game 3 where they had some time to gel. Game 1 away with people playing together for the first time in a hostile environment is not at all far fetched.

Hope springs eternal and dreams of glory are the stuff of which preseasons are made. Reality check: MC is .503 after over a decade as a HC. His record says that it's very possible that he'll find himself trying not to lose games single-handedly, yet again, starting on 8/31. We'll see if he succeeds. Also, FTR, UM's all-world transfer QB actually has a losing record as a P5 starter and has never even sniffed an environment like the one that awaits him in Gainesville. He's got to win a few more games before I jump on that bandwagon. IMHO, the Improved but still shaky Gators will make one less gawd-awful blunder and pull it out in a squeaker. Miami finishes 9-3 at best while UF barely finds a way to scrape together enough wins to save BN and make it to the DJ Lagway era. To be clear, BN remains an unproven commodity at the P5 level and is almost certainly in do or die time after two losing seasons and some very ragged FB. But Mario's record at UM isn't much better, despite great recruiting and an ACC schedule. Neither of these programs needs to be whistling past the graveyard in '24. I frankly expect unrealistic expectations to cause some turmoil and disappointment among both fanbases before this season is over. GG! Beat Miami!

Great points all around. You’re 100% spot on. I tend to agree. I think MC is capable of winning ACC, it’s not a deep conference. he has won Pac before, their about equal conferences. I agree though, I don’t care for him as a head coach. Actually he’s kind of sorry. I don’t worry about Wards performance in the PAC, He always had the least most talented team in the conference. So anything he did he did by himself. Now he has a top 10 ten roster, blue chip wise. He’s played at Oregon and Wash which I’d say aren’t far off from Gainesville. Actually his best games were at Oregon and Wash last year. But I get it. I do agree on all the points though and fully would prepare for disappointment if I were a UM fan. I think UF fans are already prepared for it this year.

Really? 9-3 at BEST? What do Dennis Erickson and Larry Coker have in common? They were mediocre HC's who lead great Miami teams to natties. Mario is not going to win many coach of the year awards, but he has proven that he can succeed with a decent roster and beef up front, which he has now. While the "X's and O's" may or may not be his strength, recruiting great players and putting them position to win is. The stats (and the eye test) suggest that there little doubt about the "Jimmys and Joes", and he has plenty of them where it counts. When all is said and done, I suspect you're going to find that your prediction is more rooted in wishful thinking than unbiased analysis.

@@k_zildjian4460 If you are seriously comparing this UM roster to those NC squads based on proven talent, you are in no position to accuse anyone of wishful thinking, ever again. Miami under Mario is the textbook book example of the total failing to equal the sum of the parts. Try to enjoy 9-3, it's not a bad record even against an ACC slate.
