Miami jumped out to a 19 point lead in the first quarter only to give up 36 non-answered points in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. With the eery feeling of Kansas State looming in each Hurricane fans mind, the kids in Coral Gables banded together and said "Not Again". The Hurricanes scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to push the game to overtime and sealed the victory with a huge 4 and 1 defensive stand with Eddie Johnson stuffing Tevin Washington for no gain on the 3 yard line. Two plays later Mike James sprinted in for his 4th TD run and an overtime victory which will go down as Coach Al Golden's best victory in the 18 months as head coach of the Miami Hurricanes. What a Game!!
Final score: 42-36. Miami 3-1 ACC 2-0

I remember this game. I was in the ICU suffering from Crohns Disease. Thankfully there was a T.V. in my hospital room and I was yelling screaming when they won though

The 12 man on the field no-call was the most ridiculous thing ever. Those announcers talking it down were disgraceful. The ACC is a joke.

I completely agree, offside and still on the field doesn't matter where he is at on the field, he is still on the field of play. So these announcers trying to justify the no call is ridiculous. I think one of them was marv albert.

there was another game i watched with a similar play and the call was made. the announcer correctly called it by saying if you can't determine if the ball was catchable or not because of the impedance then it's probably pass interference. over a guys head doesn't mean it was uncatchable, it could mean he was jammed.
