Ivan Varghese Our departments have boundaries. Officers work within the boundaries of the department that hired them. When we go into another departments jurisdiction it’s usually to assist them because they will be the lead in any arrest or writing tickets. In this video, the county has the jurisdiction inside the transit system and Miami PD has the surrounding area outside. So we have to work together.

The actual undercover guys weren't shown. The officers who were shown are part of uniformed units like patrol, PST, etc.
