I don't why people dock at a launch ramp in the first place. Drop off your driver, back away from the dock, drive your boat on the trailer as soon as it's in the water. Our boat NEVER touches the dock, we're on and off the ramp in less than 2 minutes.

Swore that big truck was going in the water. You just get that feeling. I bought my boat then it sat in the driveway for 4 months while I scoped out the exact truck i needed with 4x4 and the right tires. I didn't want to have someone else by the boat as I've been waiting for over a year for that exact one.

I live in San Diego, use to go water skiing with friends, don’t remember this kind of action ever being a problem, is it the design of the ramps.. too steep, docks not isolated from the ramp, too many people (yes), crocodiles 😍. Around here most docks are separated from the ramps, dock your boat, get the trailer, wait your turn, back down the trailer, go get your boat, load and pull out, transfer stuff to truck in the parking lot.

Long time viewer -- great content. One important request. I've never heard a callout of which way the current is headed. Ever. I can guess based on the wave riplets, but it would make the approaches being shot by these captains much more understandable (or shall I say interestingly educational and entertaining) if the direction of the current was known. Also: Your videos can be far longer in duration. When I'm really into them, here is heard, "Speaking of getting out of here...." Anyway, keep up the great work!!!

Love the boaters at 4:52. They wait until the boat is 5 seconds from the dock to decide to untangle what appears to be a 10 years old clothesline, and then demonstrate their complete lack of understanding physics and motion, as the boat slams into the dock. Watching these vids only makes me question: Are there any experienced boaters out there?
