Superb video. Mine's bent exactly the same. Not racing. Wife reversed into a concrete pillar on full lock! Another little job.

@@aracing Hi,thanks for asking. I'll be tackling it next week. Unfortunately I poked about a bit while I was under there,little bit more ferrous oxide on those chassis ends than I thought.The fun never stops with these old cars!

Thank you, im swapping in a depowered rack tommorow and needed to see how to replace the tie rods. I think ill remove and transllant the whole iinner and outer assemblies as one so i get to retain the existing alignment.

@@aracing thanks! I'll go check it out. My plans all went to hell this cos the outer tie rods on mine absolutely would not come out for love nor money. Probably gonna have to remove the knuckles now and drill them out cos we made such a mess of them. In retrospect wish I'd removed the inners and just worried about alignment later.

Just replaced my 2017 miata tie rods, they didn't have any bendable clip on them lol, hopefully they'll stay put

I like the cars to look fresh when I rent them out. It is to easy to let them go and then you are renting out bent up cars. I still race the same cars I rent out and I want the car to look in top shape when I drive them.
