The German thing it’s not true, depends with where you work though, if you are in a social job , you definitely need to finish what you started „ emergency „ then go home … eg.. nurse, doc, house doctor, police, social worker, approved school teachers etc, if you leave your work before finishing what’s urgent… that’s a reason to get summoned
