Yet I remember Habs fans telling me at the time it was a good trade. I looked at them and said you're crazy. Savard for Cheerios? No way. and we all know how that all turned out.

C'est nice de voir ces capitaines qu'on a vu évoluer avec l'équipe et qui maintenant reviennent après leur retraite, et qu'on se souviennent d'eux. C'est sûrement une grosse business mais c'est là qu'on voit le côté humain. Et ça nous vieillit aussi!!!

Chelli #24 my favorite since I saw him before he was drafted and learned he played with Moose Jaw Warriors then a SMJHL triple A team. I sat with a Salming/Leafs fan in 1986 and told him Chelli would win Norris. He did x 2. Serge Savarde said Chelli for Dennis Savard ( + 2nd!) was his worst trade ever. He was right. Montreal destroyed their D. The best D in 2 or 3 years according to Don Cherry.

@@stockey I remember him at the Stanley Cup parade on a float wearing a mink coat with two hot chicks on either arm. Apparently he was doing Patrick Roy's stripper wife.

Beaucoup se plaignaient que Koivu ne parlait pas français comme Gainey... Et Weber lui? N'importe quoi. Canadien voulais dire frenchi y'a 100 ans et on a gagné! Y'a rien à rajouter!!! :)
