He seems like a nice guy all around. I've briefly met him at a few of the Photo Days at Busch Stadium and a couple of times at the annual Winter Warm-up charity event. One year at the WWU, I saw him twice. The first time, I was sitting in the crowd in between autographs and I saw him walking toward me in time to wave & say "Hey Waino!" To my surprise, he bent down and hugged me and I quickly said "See ya soon!" I got his autograph shortly after that and said "I told ya I'd see ya soon."
