Hi :) Thank you for your opinions on the mic, I do appreciate them and have an idea whether this one will work or not thanks to you. :)
I got a new lavalier/clip on mic by Audio Technica (this one: www.amazon.com/... ) to use in my tutorial/lesson videos and I hope this one will work better then my previous one. Can you hear a lot of hiss or rumble? :) Thank you for helping me out, I hope I made the right choice. ♥

The microphone isn't as crystal clear as artists like ASMR Angel, Allie, or Heather. However, it has a slightly muffled sound that actually triggers me better than if they were clear audio. I like the mic, personally.

This is the first time I've watched this video, almost 4 years after it was posted... I guess people were complaining about this sort of video but man, I'd love to have more like it! Roleplays do nothing for me, although I like the soft speech and usually put them on at bedtime to combat Anxious Brain. But videos with this mic, and just simple sounds...now there are the tingles!

Completely baffled about the negative comments on here. People saying stuff like this is a 'simple' video...well yeah, it is but it targets some of the most common ASMR triggers (crinkly sounds, soft speaking etc) so why on earth is it not good enough? Not every video will trigger every person... I wish people would show Maria some appreciation for the time and effort she puts into her videos. She is THE original ASMRtist and although she's earning money for it now, she certainly wouldn't have been when she started out and this shows that her videos stem from her passion to help people in the best way she can, which is, ASMR! WE LOVE YOU MARIA

Hi Maria! I just wanted to say I love your videos and I know a lot of people have commented that you are not making as "high quality videos" on a regular basis as other youtubers are but I and a lot of other people love these types of videos! Not every video needs to be a sophisticated role play, I think these videos are when we can get to know you better and they are very natural and often funny too. I feel like people are putting too much pressure on you to produce videos constantly but if they really appreciated this community and what you do for us I don't think they would mind. I love seeing your videos pop up in my subscription box even if it isn't often, it just makes it more special haha. Thank you for making these videos, we all appreciate you more than you know. And please don't worry about uploading 1000 times, we (most of us) understand and will continue to support you. Sorry that was really long haha x

I just wanted to say that I have been following you since nearly the very start of your channel, I have seen you work yourself into the ground and give in to catering to the masses with role plays and seen how unhappy that made you for a long time. In one of your videos a while back you said you would create what YOU wanted and I just wanted to voice my full support of that. You can't please all of the people all of the time, and it's not fair of anyone to expect that. Believe in your content and do the videos you enjoy Maria, when I know you've enjoyed a video, it makes me far more relaxed. Thank you Maria!

For everyone complaining, please do take care in fucking right off. She's the queen of ASMR so she can do as she pleases and is the reason why the majority of these "eccentric" ASMRtists exist. If you have an issue, use the other 1000+ providers of ASMR for goodness sake. Nobody wants to hear it. ASMR isn't measured by creativity or originality of the content. It's measured by the level of sensation that you experience. So if Maria's videos allowed people to experience a great hight of ASMR 3 years ago, then videos of a similar layout in the present day will also do just that in the same manner. This is supposed to be the nicer section/community of KZfaq. Evidently this is a quality that is deteriorating slowly.

I absolutely love this video. The role plays for me can sometimes seem like too much because they can get impersonal. Random thought: I like all the different types of videos. Role play, sounds, unboxings, etc. But my favorite are the tutorials. They offer all the benefits of ASMR, plus are super super useful and wonderful. I love learning about different things. Please share more of your knowledge and experience with cooking, crafting, folding...whatever! They are the best!

I think that your clip-on mic sounds great. It gives a very clean sound, ever so slightly muted. It is very gentle on the ears. Whispering and soft speaking sound equally good. The binaural mics did not seem to pick up much with this setup, but I think it's just a matter of getting the crinkling objects closer to them. Maria you look like a kid on Christmas morning so many times in this video!

New microphone is very sensitive, and seems to do a wonderful job of capturing crinkle sounds and mouth sounds like letter S, letter P etc. This microphone configuration did seem to have a slight hiss and echo, and the warmth of the voice tones did not seem as present as in previous videos, but clearly there is a lot that's wonderful about the setup, and experimentation over time will probably yield some great results! We are all so lucky that you care so much about your craft. Thank you for everything you do!

NikeySunfire yes, I like that too, so you get a bit of binaural sounds without having to do ear to ear sounds :) but that's mostly for the tutorial/folding towels/teacher type of videos :) Thank you ♥

Love the different mics. The lavalier keeps your voice at a constant volume while you move around, and the binaural mics are awesome for some little accent sounds!

Unboxing videos are really cool and relaxing. I was originally introduced to video asmr from watching people unbox "squishies" soft plush or foam toys, unboxing stuff definitely has nice asmr touch to it alone. The unboxing plus your soft spoken/whispers might make this my new favorite video.

The video is perfect! It doesn't matter to me what kind of video it is. I like simple ones with basic equipment but I also like the creative ones where you can see that she has spend a lot of time on. I am happy when I can hear Maria, see Maria and get hypnotized by her relaxing hand movements. That is all that matters to me.

I like the idea of a clip on mic. (On top of using a normal mic) I like it and it opens room for different ASMR videos we haven't seen yet.

Idk how i missed this video, been a fan of yours for a few years now. I thought this was excellent...simple, candid, wonderful. I love that I can go back & watch the "first years" and enjoy all of those & the ones in 2019 & especially watching Mila grow! Thank you Maria for all you do. ❤
