Funny got a former ref and he says about his view but what about the rules? Law 12 of the rule book says, “A player is guilty of serious foul play if he uses excessive force or brutality against an opponent when challenging for the ball when it is in play. A tackle that endangers the safety of an opponent must be sanctioned as serious foul play.” Why don’t dermot explain how that isn’t putting a player in danger

Klopp said to any ‘football’ person it’s 100% penalty (stonewall), so this questions these pundits who are too afraid to call this out. Mark Clattenburg also came out and called it a foul and a penalty. Sky need to assess these guys, Gary Neville only one who called it correct.

I fancy Liverpool. All 3 sides play Spurs, but City and Arsenal play them away, and then Liverpool play them at home. Because it's at home, and because Spurs will be off the back of playing the other two, I think Liverpool have the best chance out of the 3 in getting all 3 points. I fancy Spurs to get a draw at least against one of the other two. Add to that, City and Arsenal play each other, I just think it gives Liverpool the smallest of edges.

Imagine if Liverpool was at full strength. Gomez gives you nothing going forward, and if we had Jota to come on when Diaz was misfiring. Or if we had Konate back there which might've allowed us to take more risk. I think Klopp will be leaving Liverpool in the best possible shape with the academy bubbling with talent, I bet Man U would take a keeper like Kelleher.
