Wow the craftsmanship and hours being put into the interiors so far is mind blowing…. Learning just how detailed the next stage is after seeing the metal and paintwork. Loving the colour choice inside and look forward to the next video. Also it’s nice to see you both living in a house after sleeping in a bus for so loooong !!!!!! 😊

Holy crap Mic what a difference a shop makes, Robert’s shop had a few guys that were willing to help with Kona, I could see the frustration on your face while you were waiting for certain people to come into work and showed up 4-5 hrs late and then would ignore you. This shop they can’t seem to do enough for you, and I’m really glad to see that smile back on your face. Now just be careful you don’t want to spoil that wife of yours, after almost a year of sleeping in a rusty van you’ve now got her in a real bed and a place you can actually sit down with room enough to stretch your legs after a day of working on Kona. Not only that but hot and cold running water. LOL. This is the way this build should have been from the start, can’t wait for the next one. Kona’s really starting to come together now.

The 2 shops are completely different though (specialty shop vs auto body shop). I work at an auto body shop & some jobs have to take precedence over others, especially when it comes to insurance jobs. We sometimes get classics in that are customer pay jobs & work on them in between the ones that are being paid for by insurance companies. We don't rush any job & the classics take more time than others. We could also get 6 new jobs in 1 day that need to be done within a certain amount of time. The weeks we don't have as many, then we can work on other things. When people are dealing with insurance companies, customers in rental cars, staffing issues, etc, you have to try to prioritize the best you can. Skinners shop is like ours & understand what he goes through. Looks like this shop has a certain schedule & only takes in a few at a time vs dealing with a high over turn of vehicles, so the bus doesn't sit as much.
