Michael Biehn, known for his roles in The Terminator, Aliens, Tombstone, and The Abyss (among other things), shares some stories about his life and his acting career. Includes some great stories about James Cameron and acting on Tombstone.

He deserves a lifetime achievement award for best-supporting actor. He always looks believable in his roles.

Apparently he could have been as big as other names in film; he actually turned down roles because the work would take him far away from family for long periods of time, which he didn't like, so placing family first was why he didn't get the recognition he deserves as an actor, for that real reason I think he is as good as other well known actors

I like Michael. He always managed to imbue his characters with a lot of integrity, even the bad guys. I'm glad he has embraced sobriety and I too hope he revitalizes his career.

Hicks dying at the beginning of Alien 3 was rubbish, great character killed off But wonder how he can be in Alien 5 since he dies in Alien 3, how would that fit in with the story line of all the films as a whole? Unless some kind of time travel element is in Alien 5

Seeing other comment below, to his defense, I don’t think he has a drinking problem. He had a pretty bad injury on the back of his head, he said it affected a little bit his short-term memory. It is all the more brave he is still such a good, welcoming and open-minded guy.

I tried to go to this but the dumbass that runs comic con has shows like this open 30 minutes after the doors open and anymore it takes 40 minutes to clear security, buy a ticket and then look for where ever the location is. Anyway I love this guy! I recorded his Victim Q and A in Scottsdale about ayear earlier.

He had a stoke a couple years before this. I think in 2012. Wasnt 100% recovered until around 2019ish. Made s 70% recovery around 2013, a year before this. Hes still a little damaged from it. As you can see. But hes a lot better right now.

Michael tends to repeat himself a lot in his answers. Even if he decides not to go back to the mainstream of acting again, he may make a pretty good teacher since he tells stories so well.

Years of alcohol abuse have taken their toll. His speech is slow and his voice hoarse compared to how it used to be ... almost like that of a recovering stroke victim. He wasted a lot of opportunities and made some bad career moves after the momentum generated from Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss and Tombstone. I hope he has a chance at a mid-life career comeback along the lines of John Travolta and Don Johnson.

He was born in 1956! So his voice, life energy and physical strength had to change. It is natural. But in my opinion he still looks good for his age and has the good figure. I admire his strong will and the fact that he was able to close this bad chapter of his life and he is sober for many years. And I agree with you - "he wasted a lot of opportunities and made some bad career moves" and I still hope he will return in the great role again...

He actually did have a stroke. I'm sure you've heard as he has made it public recently. Back in 2012 it happened I think. He could even understand English writing for months after. But he's more or less fully recovered.
