This is so so true, many actors don't react, they try too hard and it looks fake.

@@jamesjameson4566 my uncle John - on dad's side - would say our surname derives from Spain 🇪🇸 ...in 1588 there was an event, (Spanish Armada) and some Spanish sailors were shipwrecked on Irish coast ...so, from 1588 onwards, were Irish, 💚 if my uncle was correct ...there may be some Norwegian bloodlines, also ...Ireland, 🇮🇪 is a mix, of many nations ...hope this helps 🙏

@@MapleSyrupPoet thanks Vincent, Jack Nicholson played an Irish American gangster in the departed, as you probably know, and his name was Costello, it's always puzzled me, I did Google it a while back but I got nothing definitive, so your answer helped greatly

kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ecuPdrSGmcvOpWw.html I was thinking Cos TV Soups like Eastenders are more Realistic Wouldn't it look Weird and more noticeable because people are more likely to watch them on tablets, but I guess Steve mcfadden Doesn't blink at times, and he Does look powerful So I guess it makes sense, it Just one thing I've always Struggled to Do, I guess closing your eyes before the close up might work
@andiemorgan961

Soaps tend to have longer takes, with wider shots of both actors interacting simultaneously. There are less close ups and back and forth editing, as this costs time and money. Soap acting is more like stage acting, where the actors are moving around a lot more on set.
