About the NBA:

This is where a Hall of famer's career begins, a developing team that builds itself around you instils leadership qualities that will make your team mates dependent on you. MCW has a long way to go but if he takes the right path he could be amongst the greatest of all time its not everyday you see a 6'6 PG with dazzling numbers in his rookie season you know........

Uks bridge true, sad how the trade ruined his career... 76ers and him were perfect fits for each other. MCW at this level of play paired with TJ, Simmons, Saric, and Embiid could be one good team. And to pair that with somebody maybe like Monk in the draft at SG... Disappointing how this trade worked out, bad all around

That opening game against the Heat was one of the most amazing performances I've ever seen, made even better by the fact that it was his first in the league.

***** idk I think the added strength will magnify the size advantage he has against guards... watching him play, he seemed to be able to get good position constantly on guards in terms of getting in the paint, but didn't always have the strength to finish. and when he runs around sometimes, he leans over and looks a lil weak. and thesmokinggun42 I was just askin bro thats all.

bdaddymar34 Ah ok I read that wrong, lol. If he puts in the work yeah I can see him up there eventually. But I think Penny was better early on in his career than I've seen from MCW so far, Penny was in the finals in his second year I believe, so he has a ways to go but sure I don't see why not, he has a bright future.

What's the consensus on MCW's ceiling? What do you folks believe he'll become? Some say he'll be the next Penny, some say he'll be like Tyreke Evans. I think he'll be closer to Penny, what do you guys think?

germaneloyguzman I think this guy clearly lacks basic reading comprehension. He isn't voicing his own opinion, he is asking for the opinion of others. Your comment, therefore, makes no sense and I could probably have elicited a more intelligent response from a rock. I don't think he'll be anything like Tyreke Evans. Completely different playing styles. Tyreke has no jump shot at all. His game is predicated on bullying his way down the lane for dunks or layups. Tyreke's numbers have dropped every year since his rookie season, which isn't a good sign.

bdaddymar34 It's hard to compare him to anyone else, I think he's his own kind. Just to know that he can improve is just AMAZING I can seriously see him averaging close to a triple double with 20+ ppg.

i like Wiggins on that team. Parker may be the better scorer but its not like he'll be a Durant or Melo. I believe Wiggins has more upside, hes more athletic, he has the potential to guard 4 positions, and he doesnt need the ball to be effective. him along with Noel and MCW would make for one of the best young defensive and athletic teams in the league, the offense will come with time

I personally don't think he should have won it because this guy got so many minutes on a bad team that it was absolutely ridiculous, oladipo got only half the minutes that MCW did and still put up numbers that were as just as great, I can't stand the fact that rookies with the best stats win ROY every time, makes no sense but what ever

Magic fan...and Victor Oladipo was drafted at #2 overall with much higher expectations...MCW was being discouraged for his jumper and inconsistency coming into the draft and look at what he did.

TheonlyGizzy Your right, I am a magic fan and im absolutely proud of it, I don't care if they go 0-82 because I will always support them but aside from that nonsense you probably didn't want to read about anyway my point is that oladipo didn't get no where near the minutes that MCW did and oladipo still had almost similar stats that and other statistics that MCW did, I mean playing with veterans like jameer nelson and arron afflalo its obvious he isn't get get alot of playing time compared to MCW, imagine if olapipo played on the sixers and got the the playing time that he did, dude would have piled up 2 times the stats he did with orlando, MCW is a future star no doubt and so is oladipo, I just hope that both have long, healthy careers because I miss seeing D-rose and Kobe out playing on the court

He's an incredibly fun player to watch. No doubt the 76ers will be better next season with Nerlens Noel back. MCW and Noel is a great defensive duo.

Don't know if ya'll agree with me but... The team should've kept Thad, Evan Turner and Spencer. The team wouldn't have gotten a top 3 pick but they were still a near .500 team in the East and was actually somewhat amusing to watch, now... I can't even look at what they've done to the roster. But Kudos to MCW on a good rookie year and lets hope the team improves on that next year.

I hope the 76ers pick Andrew Wiggins, because when Nerlens and Wiggins start playing, the 76ers will have one of the most athletic, exciting teams in the NBA. They would have a formidable (not amazing) defense. Obviously wouldn't make the playoffs, but would have an excellent core for the future.
