Bass solo and band intros followed by crazy fiddle histrionics that gradually segues into a traditional BG-style Sally Gooden by around 6:50. Check out Mike twisting tuning pegs while playing at 4:30!

Psychedelic fiddle. I love Michael's bow work and he goes from bluegrass to jamband back to bluegrass so seamlessly. We need to protect this man.

OMG! Been picking Bluegrass a long time at 74, and I have to say I have never heard fiddle playing at this level. The amount of notes and variations that he’s throwing in there is just off the charts. Fiddle on my man!

One of my top three fiddlers in Bluegrass music. A genre of music steep in musical talent. Some of the best muscians in the world play Bluegrass and Michael is one of them.

Especially considering he couldn't use his left index finger after shooting a nail through it with a nail gun not too long before this show. But he's a great player and an even better person (and a great friend since high school).

I've had very limited exposure to Bluegrass and thought I had heard the limits of what the best players could do and believe me I was satisfied but Mr. Cleveland blew me away.Am I wrong to ask if he's raising the bar as far as fiddle players go? I mean I've heard Sally Gooden before but this was ridiculous.Big props to the other musicians too.
