Your story on the history channel brought me here.Been a big reader, and pretty knowledgeable of Organized crime.Been raised in the city of Boston in the neighborhood where Whitey Bulger the Irish organized crime boss I always was lured into believing that it was people like him, and yourself that this is what i had to do in order to succeed in life.i never worked for any organized crime "outfit", never even met Bulger, but my father did and was with him in Feds inn Atlanta way back 60's, and that is what brought my father from down south to Boston where he met my Mother.my Father was from Atlanta, and was part of that life.Whitey was impressed with him, and told my Father that when you get out look me up,, and come to Boston so he did.my Mother, and father met had me, and never really met my Father that is how much he let that life consume him.The times that he was around and he visited my Mother, and I living in the old colony projects he was always dressed in a suit, had cash, and was a very dangerous guy.He was a big uy 6'5" and was used for violence, and ran many of the night clubs in the city as a "front man" for the Italians.He was pretty much run out of town with the threat of death, and never came back for what i do not know, but he screwed.I took my own path in life one of being a street wise kid pretty much listened no one.Long story short I am 43 years old going on 3 years ow unemployed doing side work here and there.My record is , bad but not that bad that i am not employable.i know people can change because I have without God.Maybe I'm wrong, and that is what I need IDK??I feel i payed my dues, but obviously employers don't??if I were going to get back into crime i would have by now 3 years no steady work??If this was 5 years ago i know I wouldn't let this happen that is how I know I am done.Do I believe you are you truly a changed man, or are you conning people//is this your new hustle??IDK only you, and God know that, but i like to think you are sincere, and that you do want to help others.It is a big commitment after all traveling being away from family and all.But then again your used to that also as that is what your life entailed before you found God.I can see how some have a hard time believing your sincerity, but I think your done.If any suggestions please send them my way because I am that man who lost his home.A Father who is struggling to provide for my Daughter, and thank God for her Mom for that.But as a man it is hard to look your family in the eye, and say no luck today with finding a job maybe tomorrow??Thank You for sharing it is a miracle that you are alive to talk about it today.
