Very cool guy. I met him once, small acoustic show. Talked, got a picture, autograph, and gave him a hug.

He's such a cool guy! I as well got to meet him in a bar in a small town. So humble and so kind. He even asked if he could sit with a group of the patrons. He gave out these VIP passes and he signed it for me and signed my shirt I bought, and I got a picture with him. And that's not even the coolest part, he gave me some really good life advice. He said never lie to yourself, you're strong and you can always succeed if you're honest with yourself. And he gave me a hug when I told him I've been a fan since I was in high school. Such a cool dude, I'm still shocked I got to meet him.

The Devils Rain does have a few good tracks, and a few stinkers. I actually really enjoy The Black Hole, Land Of the Dead, twilight of the dead, curse of the mummies hand, vivid red, unexplained and ghost of Frankenstein (where do they go is also decent). I will admit that death ray, father, Jack the Ripper and cold in hell are not something I really enjoy. Sleepwalking is good or bad depending on my mood

Jerry almost didn’t hire Graves, but Peter Steele supported Graves and told him “This is your man”. From one of my favorite musicians to another, it was cool hearing that story.

No breaks. at the end of the show he sits on the edge of the stage and gives away all his apparel. Jerry Only is an amazing guy, seriously. the misfits are only around today because of him.

Jerry turned, what was one of the greatest bands of all time, into a joke. He needed to be the focus of the band. He didnt like Michale getting attention and writing better songs than he ever could. It's no coincidence that back in 2009 Gorgeous Frankenstein opened up for Danzig. Gorgeous Frankenstein had Doyle and Chud in the band. Michale joined them on stage and they did a mini Graves era Misfits set. Then Doyle joined Glenn on stage for a mini classic Misfits set. Jerry wasn't involved. His own brother didn't want anything to do with him because of, what basically came down to, his ego. Also the same reason Marky Ramone left. Jerry tries really hard to portray himself about being all for the fans, but he's only all for the fans if they're gushing over him. He didn't make the Misfits in any way, he ruined the Misfits and he can't sing or write a decent song to save his life.

I'm guessing that since the reunion with Glenn this won't be possible

You got a band that has been operating for more than 40 years and none of the past or present members are dead or dying yet ,a reunion could go well with either lineup, because the "Misfits" name is what the fans are looking at for the most part. If any of the original members are there at all, people will show up.

I just watched The Original Misfits in Chicago and it was unbelievable fucking good. Graves made me think about his words, I don't know if it can be bigger than The Originals, I doubt it, but for sure will be fucking crazy and fun to watch, I grew up with the 2 Graves era albums

@@op-z i just went and saw graves on the 12th and it was AWESOME. Him and his band are all great, the ticket price was more than reasonable, and at the end of the set he came down to the merch table and took pictures with and signed whatever anybody wanted to come say hi. The dudes humble, generous, and does shit for his fans. I stood in line for 40+ minutes TWICE because i had something else out in the car I wanted him to see and sign. If he was a dick hole I'd have just left, but he was super cool and didn't enforce any of that "1 picture per person" shit or anything you'd expect somebody like danzig to do.

I went and saw the original misfits lineup in jersey. It was nostalgic, yes, but it sounded like hot trash in an arena. Dont get me wrong, I'm glad I was there, but the misfits were not meant for arenas.

C Davis Danzig and Jerry announcing these “one off” reunion shows is just a ploy to get people to go. They still fucking hate each other the whole things is a huge cash grab and a mutual agreement to prevent them suing each other again. Its actually pretty shameful really.

Of course its not Mikey's fault, I'm just saying he should he should shave the sides with a straight razor frequently to avoid the shadow. The shaved head thing works, see Halford for example, but the bald on top, hair on sides (ie- the Costanza), not so much. That is, as long as he's professionally active. Just my thoughts.

@@connorohalloran9225 I'm a huge Misfits fan Danzig era and Graves era. I'm a Danzig and Samhain fan as well. I've seen Danzig several times, Misfits with Only on lead, and Michale Graves live. I don't care what the guy looks like, I like his music... that doesn't make him a bad ass though.
