What’s so crazy to me is how the media acts like MJ is wrong for wanting privacy? I feel for Michael. Nothing he’s saying is unreasonable. It’s unreasonable that everyone thought they could infringe upon his privacy and his rights. If you love Michael, then respect him!

@@Dis2good I'm an MJ fan so of course I wouldn't tease him about his looks, but I understand why people did. It's not about him turning white due to vitiligo. It's about the amount of plastic surgery that he had. He still looked fine during the Bad era when his skin turned completely white. After Bad his appearance started getting worse and worse because of him having so many surgeries. He should have left himself the way he was after Bad if vitiligo was his main issue. He obviously had other issues as well like probably body dysmorphic disorder.

yes he was, but he was VERY eccentric and did bizarre things, like dangling his baby over a balcony. Had that baby fallen he would've been deeply upset and distressed, so some things he did were a bit whacky. But then again, who could blame him with the upbringing he had. Essentially he was a child in a man's body hence why he had sleepovers with children (which in my eyes, were wholly innocent).

The thing that I've never liked about journalists interviewing Michael is that they never ever listen to him with empathy. He is being emotional and opens a bit and they cut him and go for what is more interesting for their story line. This man was such a good hearted person, not mentioning priceless and unique talent no one can ever compare to or come close to. He was treated so badly, good heart like that being among showbiz people where most of them look only for their profit, money and interest, it's no surprise he felt constantly deeply sad and lonely no matter money and fame. His soul was hurt all the time. Too good for this cruel world, but his legacy remains forever as our love for him in our hearts.

The way he handled her questions and attitude in this interview blows my mind! He was so confident and well spoken and I know it put her off and confused her. She really tried to get to him but didn't succeed because he handled it so well and remained calm and respectful throughout the whole interview. I Especially loved when he fired her question back to her "maybe you should come up with a plan to help me", so cleaver, sassy and straight forward but still so calm and collected! This man knew how to handle people! I hate that he had to answer such stupid questions and sit and listen to her while she offended him and had so little respect towards him but I'm glad that he could get a chance to speak up and handle it so perfectly well! Wow! The amount of admiration and respect I have for this man is just.. It's a shame so many people don't take their time to listen and get to know him, he was a real genius!

He really isn’t all that odd in style honestly . He is definitely unique and original but I think it was his light , his aura , his genuine magnetism that drew everyone’s attention and curiosity. There are people out there that have this , they exist in daily life and aren’t mega “superstars “ yet they are stars as well..just not in the public eye like mj was . But they get a lot of attention as well by just existing . People may tell them , they could be famous or they look like some celebrity etc . But they maybe don’t take that path . But anyway it’s like when you look at him , he is really dapper and dashing , yes flashy at times but he is just regal in his style . He wasn’t exposing his body or where a bunch of jewelry and chains , so it’s not like he is asking for attention. Of course if he is going to be in the public eye he may want to look his best in his own taste and expression . He usually wears suits and dress shoes etc but I’ve seen when it’s like a show or award thing his is super royal from like another world lol so what ? Like he literally was walking around in a blazer , dress pants and a fedora . Wth is eccentric about that ? Lol they just were so marveled by his energy they found everything to pick at to justify why he stood out . He was just being himself . His originality was iconic . People were doing too much man . Smh .

Seeing all these interwiers treating him this way... tears me apart. He was truly one of a kind and the world won't ever have someone like him again. Kindness, compassion, talent, cleverness, altruism, charisma, care, interested also in charity.. few of the qualities he had. Kind caring, incredibly intellectual and I enjoyed the conversation we had. We both had a mutual passion for the movie industry and special effects. I say this to the world, if you knew the real Michael you would totally know he was innocent of the accusations leveled at him. The music industry lost a true legend who should have been treasured not ridiculed.

7:37 really shows the type of person michael is. notice how he ludicrously repeated what she said to him, “to be kind?” he says it in confusion, because michael always thought kindness to be an automatic and instinctual nature that people should follow without being told to. and since he sees kindness as this behavior that EVERYONE deserves, he expected others to think the same. and he never once wavered in that belief. so sweet and so innocent☹️💗. kindness is something he honors and holds so dear and sacred to his heart that he didn’t even stop to think that other people would disagree with him or think otherwise. he always saw the good in people. even when he was failed by the media, he still hoped… for himself and for humankind. he saw the best in us. what a good man
@LadyCharity

It literally didn't occur to him that ppl aren't automatically kind yet demand so much of his privacy. He was clearly an empath likely HSP and he was getting annoyed so out of his kindness, he laughed it off and attempted to shift the focus of what Barbara Walters was saying. She was on some bs, straight insulted him and he remained fairly positive but there was a great deal of pensive intensity when he spoke. I can see why he rarely gave interviews.

I’m pretty sure one of the things that cured his depression was children, but especially his own. The reason why Michael confided in them was because of their purity, innocence and honesty. When it came to his children, they gave him that sense of comfort, peace and happiness that he needed and had been longing for. He had already been through hell not just as an artist but as a human in general. Michael cared so deeply for them that he didn’t want them to experience anything similar to what he'd gone through as a child himself. He was indeed ‘the best daddy in the whole world.’
