Hi all!
So when I go back through the old stuff, I specifically enjoy going through medleys I've done and dedicating a full song to one of the tracks. Couldn't help but tackle MJ's mega hit. I gave it a the best shot i could. HAD to keep the solo. That's like...religious ground haha. Hope I did it some justice. Thanks for everything!

This song is also proof that Michael Jackson was not just a pop star. He was a rock artist too, being so versatile to add Eddie Van Halen and more recently, Oranthi to the mix.

I think Michael Jackson could have pulled off about any style...he was just good a creating Music. He wanted to be the Greatest however, so that explains why his Music is a Little more Pop Maybe, and he also Always made it so he could dance neatly :D

Zedrick Michael Jackson made the song’s lyrics in 1983, which was also the album debut year for quite a few metal bands, not ignoring Metallica, Slayer, (and Van Halen whose album came out 4 years earlier).

I can't believe it took me as long as it did to find this. This is amazing! I was not expecting to hear Michael in the song itself. As someone else already said, he wasn't just a pop star, he was a rock star too. Obviously you put your all in it as always and a great smile as always. Continue to make music with the same passion, intensity and smile as you have!

Actually, Steve Lukather admitted: he made a "metal Mike" version of Beat It by turning his Marshalls all the way up because EVH's solo was in the record. Quincy had to tell Lukather to turn it down because it was "too metal" to be put in R&B and pop radio stations.

it needs to be a song that has a eurobeat style beat in the background but guitar or keys that scale upwards or downwards in the foreground so it sounds more natural when he turns it metal. something like i wanna be the night, looka bomba, or spark in the dark. but if he can make the meme blow up to teach the younger generation about initial d ill be happy with that
