Watch Michael Jackson performing his number one hit "Billie Jean" live at the Gentofte Stadion in Copenhagen, Denmark during the first leg on July 20, 1992 as part of the Dangerous World Tour (1992 - 1993). AI Remastered and Upscaled with Color Corrections.
By December of 2020, it has been more than a year now since the Dangerous World Tour live in Copenhagen 1992 first leaked. Only a few remasters of the track "Billie Jean" was uploaded in KZfaq, and most versions available didn't really have the best quality nor the best video color adjustments. Around 6 months ago I attempted to remaster the track "Billie Jean" from the newly leaked Copenhagen concert but I wasn't much satisfied with it. And since I'm currently working on remastering all of the available concerts from the Dangerous World Tour, I decided to rework the remaster and get all of the remaining adjustments right. In this second remaster I mainly focused on removing the "pink tint" that it had, somewhat similar to the ones we had from Bremen 1992. The contrast and saturation was on point most of the time so I really didn't have to worry about that, the brightness and the highlights were altered here in some parts, mostly in the drum solo parts in the beginning and ending. There were some parts that were quite overexposed but was still recoverable overall like the parts at 3:08 where he begins the "Angle Breaker" move. The hue was also slightly changed, turning the more light pinkish red to a more pure red tint. As for the audio, I once again upscaled and enhanced it with Dolby and Audacity, and mainly increased the bass, kicks, as well as the Hi-Fis. Added a slight reverb to it along with little crystallization. Remastered using Topaz Video Enhance AI.
• The Dangerous World Tour
The Dangerous World Tour was the second world concert tour by American singer Michael Jackson to promote his eighth studio album Dangerous. The tour was sponsored by Pepsi-Cola. All profits were donated to various charities including Jackson's own "Heal the World Foundation". The tour ran from June 27, 1992, to November 11, 1993, playing 69 concerts to nearly 4 million people.
All concerts were professionally filmed by Nocturne Productions Inc., which filmed all of Jackson's tours and private affairs. During the 1992 European leg of the tour, MTV was given permission to film backstage reports, interview the cast and film live performance. The mini-show was hosted by Sonya Saul and had six, 15-minute mini-episodes of concerts in Munich, Werchter, Dublin, Hamburg, Cardiff, London, Leeds, Berlin, Oviedo and Madrid. MTV released footage of "Billie Jean" and "Black Or White" at the first show in Munich. "Billie Jean" was released with 2 different versions, one by MTV as a special, and the other on the Dangerous Diaries documentary. Both versions have placed a snippet of Jackson's original a cappella recording for "Billie Jean" over the live vocals when Jackson throws his fedora. Performances include "Billie Jean", "Black or White", "Jam", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'", and "Will You Be There".
The concert in Bucharest on October 1, 1992, was filmed and broadcast on television all across the world, giving HBO the highest rating garnered in cable TV History, with an unedited version airing on the BBC. The concert film titled Live in Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour was officially released on DVD on July 25, 2005.
