I read once that Michael pulled this song from his concert set list when he heard that Princess Diana would be attending the show. When she caught wind of it she asked his team to please have him perform it, apparently it was a favorite of hers 💕

I heard a rumor that the late Princess Diana insisted he performed this song after her people told him not to because they thought it might offend her. This is the same woman who dressed in drag to go clubbing with Freddie Mercury in secret.... I think she knew what she wanted. Bless her heart...

I remember reading when was dating Brooke Shields in the 80s, that she tried to kiss Michael a couple of times and each time he would end up running out of the house or wherever they were at the time.

I always thought it was "Noooo", which is funny b/c I had this memorized when I was like 7-8, the chorus at least. We had someone that my dad worked with come to our house wanting a kitten we were giving away and her name was Diana.....I sang this to her. Mom loved it b/c she thought her husband cheated on her with Diana lol.
