That's because MJ was always ahead of his time. He set trends. There are performers coming out every day who use his dance moves with no idea where they came from. Say what you will about MJ, but he was one of the few performers that you can legitimately call an artist. He perfected his craft, and will forever be an icon for that.

This song shocked me as a kid... MJ was this hero, and then this video came out and it was dark, gritty, almost an "edgy" version of MJ. This song ended up being my favorite MJ because of the realness, and frustration in his voice. Instead of the King of Pop singing, this is Michael Jackson singing. 10\10 (Also Michael says a no-no word 🤣)

Em Pac I only wish it was longer! It still gives me chills. Every single time I watch this video, I have to watch the dance sequence at least 4 times: one I watch both of them, then I watch Michael, then Janet, then I watch it one more time! lol they is not, nor will there EVER be artists like this again! I literally feel blessed that I was there in my prime when this music came out, and now my teenage children LOVE IT! I’m a proud mom I showed them right!! 😂
