Michael Jackson's short film for "One More Chance" was filmed in conjunction with the release of Number Ones, a new Michael Jackson compilation released in 2003. As a single, "One More Chance" reached the Top 40 in eight countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Spain and Italy, where it peaked within the Top 10 of each country's chart.
The short film, which featured Michael singing and dancing to the song on the floor of a small club while the audience members watch from up on the stage, was not released concurrently with the "One More Chance" single. It made its debut in 2010 on the box set Michael Jackson's Vision.

The music video was shutdown during production due to the allegations made against him. So the video that was see here is an unfinished product most likely. still very well done though.

The only artist who acknowledged the correct place of the audience - the pedestal. Because he can't entertain if no one wishes to be entertained by him. And he's literally asking for one more chance to be on stage. Not showing his face, only his dance skills. The only thing missing in this video is his lovely smile. I wish the world had been fair to him.😢 We will always keep Michael on the pedestal because that's where he keeps us ❤

He was a really important artist. Not just dancer, singer, director. He was actually directing "art" which includes a lot of things with it. That's why his beloved movies are still being watched today. MJ was my one and only artist worldwide whom I'd do anything to see live. Maybe we'll meet in another world my dear Michael Jackson. When he died, he was included in the Oscars memoriam. Some people were confused but they did not remember that MJJ was not only a dancer. He was involved in the making of his video clips like Smooth criminal and others and helped the 3D industry to be known today as he spent a lot of millions for certain futuristic video clips. It’s saddening to remember that this was his final music video, but what I find particularly heartbreaking is we see in this video and the few in the years before it that his face is shown very little. There had been debate surrounding his appearance his entire life, but the 2000s is when he started being called SCARY. The idea that his face frightened people, perhaps children, must’ve been crushing. Between that and the endless other repulsive theories surrounding him at the time, it would’ve been no surprise for his confidence to be gradually destroyed. You looked great Mike, would’ve loved to see your smile more.

Michael couldn't finish the video the way it supposes to be because this was also the same time that the FBI with 100 policemen raided and wreck his Neverland, especially his room! Michael was devastated! How can you fake your face fine if you were hurt? Michael was a very sensitive type of person! Hearing from his workers crying on the phone telling him not to come to Neverland. That was the reason, too he never came back to Neverland and close its amusement for charity work! Michael has been generous and has this type of kindness that hard to understand from a normal mind! He had many Judas people in his life. He was a good Samaritan yet most betrayed. He was too nice yet most bullied. He wasn't perfect but most misunderstood! Sometimes I see him as a victim of fame! He was tormented by these Judas people (cruelty of the media, those traitors' parents, Sony under Tommy, etc.......) Still, I thank God in heaven for creating human beings Michael Jackson!

There was meant to be another session of shooting from the front but they only got these shots from behind Michael before Michael got news in the middle of it that Neverland was being raided, which meant that he couldn't do any more filming.

It's even more tragic to know; allegedly, no close ups were filmed because they were saved for last and Michael was arrested for his 2003 trials... which he was acquitted from. BUT if it makes you feel better, I think he made the audience be on a higher ledge was to show his gratitude for the fans being calm and restrained enough to find facts and help him.

It's a little bit eerie that this ended up being MJ's last music video whilst still being alive. I think it's actually very fitting that the video was done in this way. MJ always had a great love and respect for his fans... maybe too much even. In this video, he is elevating his fans above himself... putting them on the pedestal. He takes the focus off of him and puts it on them. All he wanted to do was entertain people, bring joy to their lives. He was also saying thanks to his fans.

I NEVER turned my back on this man even back in the 90's at the first accussation. I was in his corner from the 80's all the way through 2020. I love this man with all my heart not just because he was the king of pop. I loved who he was as a person to, he was sweet, caring, humble and a VERY protective and loving father

And you know his videos were already short films themselves. The album cover has moving images. Its a thick booklet inside with pictures. I like how it was put together. I don't have the single. I gotta see if I can find it. I like his mixes. Especially History in the mix. I'm glad you mentioned the single version with the mixes.
