When I first saw Black Dynamite back in 2011, I was surprised that it both starred and was written by Michael Jai White. I admit that I never followed his career and only knew him from Spawn and other films with a more serious tone. I was so used to seeing him play serious roles that I wasn't expecting him to be such a hilarious and comedic guy. He's such a cool dude. So laid back and chill.

Mike is one of those actors, who made action flicks and then made a comedy and it worked! There were so many action stars that failed at comedy like Stallone and Van Damme, but he made it!
