Michael Johnson became the only man in history to win the 200m and the 400m gold medals at a single Olympics at the Atlanta Games in 1996.
Johnson set Olympic record times in both events (19.32 in the 200m and 43.49 in the 400m) as he took both gold medals.

Well, if you are comparing it to the 100m times, in the 100m you have to accelerate through much of it but in the 400m you run a much higher percentage of the race at full speed.

Man those iconic gold shoes! I think to me it's more impressive than Usain's because when this happened, I was a little 4 year old, who didn't know anyone could ever run that fast! With Usain, it's impressive, but being much older now, you know it's possible! Great to see Johnson giving Usain props though!
