@Thebiggestdumbo I'm here...dumbo. It keeps being defined as Jordan vs LeBron...the truth is it was Jordan AND Pippen AND Paxson AND Rodman AND Grant AND Kerr...vs LeBron AND whoever supporting cast he had around him. Point I'm making is...a lot of people want to pretend that Jordan did it ALL BY HIMSELF - which he did not. And this "6 titles" crap also keeps forgetting that it's a TEAM sport. Some of the greatest players in sports...not just in basketball...never won a title - not because they weren't great, but because they played on teams where they didn't have help. The way LeBron AND Jordan had help. Any other questions?

In other words take away his easy chips pre-modern NBA and what do you have? Take away MJs chips and you still have the all time leader in ppg for reg season, post season and finals, 10x scoring champ, 3x steals leader, 5x mvp and the most exciting dominating non center the game has ever seen. But that's none of my business.

Nantille Boards Pippen was getting pressure taken away by Jordan and made plays using his spacing and driving open lanes. Just as Paxon was getting open shots because of that and making them. Jordan also made many key steals and defensive stops.

@@homiediego8933 Pippen runs the point. He's the one out there more than anyone facilitating the offense. That man earned everything he got. I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone better in transition than Scottie. Helping create the turnovers, then running and finishing or dishing. His pull up 3 feels like it falls every time he's in transition. And as good a perimeter defender as I've seen as well. Mike is the GOAT, no doubt. But Scottie was "great" himself. Not just good or a nice complimentary player. Or a sidekick. Great in his own right.

@Dimitris Solaris a bit misleading, he was beaten by the most balanced team in nba history(the spurs) for 2 of those 6 losses, and then he was beaten by an absurd super-team that shouldn't have been allowed to exist. Mike is amazing and deserves his spot as g.o.a.t., but career 27, 7 and 7 on 50% with 3 titles, 4 m.v.p.s and averaging 25 and 10 assists at 35 years old puts lebron firmly in 2nd place(nothing to sneeze at)

The knew and could do some things but were still clearly in the early stages. 1988: Bulls were a middle school child. They knew and could do more than ever before but clearly still had a way to go. 1989: Bulls were a high schooler. By this time they knew and could a lot but stilt had some growing pains to go through. 1990: Bulls were a college student: They were almost there, but still had to mature a bit before they could be an adult. 1991: Bulls are an adult. Nor could the players today replicate their game with 90's rules. For one thing the 3 point shot didn't exist in the NBA until 1980. But worse, it wasn't put into the HS and college game until 1987. So kids coming up aren't even developing this part of their game yet. It'd take until 2000 roughly for a generation to come along that developed the shot from day 1 on the playground. Oddly I've never seen anyone else point this out. An example of why comparing eras in regards to the skill set of the players is futile. You play by the rules of engagement, which are always being tweaked for the benefit of the league as a whole. At least that is the goal. But sometimes I think more is lost than gained.
