This was Pippen's charity game. When Jordan had taken his talents elsewhere when he was a Double-A Baron in Birmingham. Black Jesus didn't even have his b-ball legs. I remember camera panned to Pippen on bench and he raised his foot to show jumpman logo under his Air Jordan shoe and with his index finger he said come here. Begging Jordan to come back! I can't remember what Bulls player told the story that Scottie once tried to lock-down MJ in practice and Jordan took it personal. So much so that Pippen had to tell Mike to slow down. #GOAT

I think it’s Craig Hodges who told the story about MJ and Scottie Pippen in practice in 1990
@idmas.88872 жыл бұрын
I think you´re referring to this story: "Hodges shared one particular time when Pippen decided to man up against Jordan and guard him with intensity. He was, after all, the Bulls’ defensive anchor, but this didn’t stop him from trying. The result was quite humorous, as Hodges explained. “I can remember this time in, I think, 1990 when Scottie decided to challenge Michael one day in practice,” Hodges told The Washington Post. “Michael kind of backed up for a half-second. Then he proceeded, literally, to score on Scottie at will. It was incredible. I mean, Scottie Pippen even then was one of the best players in the league and Michael just rained points on him. Scottie had to step back and say, ‘Slow up, man.'”". GOAT.

That’s wasn’t the same game dummy. Scottie got his signature black flights on in the video. The moment you are referring too did not happen until the playoffs later in the season 94-95 season when Scottie knew he was coming back because he was coming to practice. Them Jordan 10s mike got on in this game hadn’t even been released yet. The game was in September they didn’t drop until November. Scottie had the red and white color way.
