What separate Jordan from any other professional sports player is the fact he never took a night off regardless of whom he played against he played as if it was a championship final game and to supersede the expectations each and every time I swear there will never be another you had to be in that era to truly understand his greatness

1988 MVP AND Defensive Player Of The Year in the same season. Crazy stat.. just literally flying... I saw the whole year of 88 that was accessible, along with the rest of his career but he had some stoopid games in that stretch of 88.. lots of great blocks and steals.. the scoring was always there, but his defense was a tripp! Quickness SMH

Michael Jordan is actually a sensitive guy. Being born in the year of the Water Rabbit (Cat). 1963. But he's also on the cusp of the year of the Water Tiger. 1962. In the sign of Aquarius, the month of the Tiger. Born a year earlier Akeem Olajuwon is also the cusp of the Double Tiger. Ox in his case. Julius Erving was born in the year of the Metal Tiger.

I would contend that Michael Jordan’s the best Scorer to ever play the game And here’s why Michael never played through an 82 game season where he averaged under 20 points per game in his career In his thirteen seasons with the Bulls, he led the league in points in ten of those seasons One of two players two lead the league in points seven seasons in a row (other being Wilt) Even when past his prime with Washington, he still averaged 21-22 points per game

@@itsmeitstrue You don't know that for sure, Houston had a very good team with Alajuwon, I really think they would have beaten Chicago regardless, they were lucky to win in 93 against the Suns, the Suns choked that series away, they were the better team, they had home court with a better record, if it wasn't for Paxson, they wouldn't have won, they shut down Jordan in that game, he shot very poorly.
@itsmeitstrue3 жыл бұрын
@@Mrd9960 of course we dont know that for sure but I think the chances wouldve been pretty good. Yeah that suns team was great. But they really lacked a go to scorer besides barkley. Charles is top 5 power forward of all time, you could rank him #1 if u wanted to. Wouldnt get no argument from me. But KJ and Marley didnt play their best ball in that series.

I was the Anti-Micheal Jordan. I played high school soccer where no one gave a crap in the late 1970's. My junior of the 1978 season I started almost every game my Junior High School year. I graduated in May of 1979. The Junior year of 1978 I scored a goal for the other team. It was a header and our goalie ran out early the soccer ball which was kicked by the opponents by over 50 yards probably 60 yards and I headed the soccer ball from twenty yards out and the soccer ball instead going forward dribbled towards our goal and the goalie had raised out from our crease and into our nets. That was the last game i ever started in or played any meaningful minutes. But I still have my memories of the 1978 junior season and the memory of both me and my dad saying that the goalie should of stayed his ground--victory Allouez Anchors. Morris Miller from Green Bay, Wisconsin and long time resident of Chicago, Illouis. MEMORIES!!!

Jordan could have actually been a pretty decent baseball player had he spent the years playing it instead of basketball. MLB is extremely competitive and requires a lot of time and years of training. The media knocked his skills more than he deserved but I guess cause he made a lot more money for them playing basketball. Also, most of those baseball players/a lot of them were on steroids.
